Weather conditions obviously will not be an issue, so with a fast track which team do you think has an advantage?

I like our Special Teams getting down field fast & returns as well.

Wow. This caught me off guard:

The point also hasn't been lost on players that the team hasn't played in an indoor facility this year, outside of a preseason game at Detroit in August.

Of all the chatter from coaches and players in recent days, this focus on conditioning and indoor practices is what stands out most.

All of our offensive production has come outdoors against the winds and cold. Indy has a "fast" turf, lets hope that this could play to our advantage of having quick burst/YAC guys everywhere.

I believe Indy's turf is pretty much the same field turf that about 75% of the rest of the league uses. This isn't the old days where NE was playing on grass while Indy had that old "astroturf". Of course, there won't be any weather factor but the Patriots have pretty much avoided extreme weather this year anyway.

I was aware of this only because I was arguing on a general NFL board that Brees wasn't as impressive as Rogers or Brady because he had 11 dome games to Rogers 3 and Brady 0. I do think Brees is very good but you put him outside and you can take 10% off his numbers. Brees to me is Chad Pennington with a slightly better arm before Chad had all the arm problem. That's not a knock I think very highly of Chad but he's not Brady or Rogers either.

Anyway back to your point Brady's career rating in domes is 103.1 in spite of those being loud road games.

Don't you dare compare Brees to Pennington. That's just disrepectful. I get what you saying about him playing in a dome though. Come on now.

All the more reason for Patriots fans going to the Superbowl to take vuvuzelas and rock Indy's house.

I was thinking of this a few days ago, remembering that AFCCG (I know different stadium) and how the Pats faded thee (I think Eric Alexander is still chasing Dallas Clark). Pats have had great weather all year but, yeah, a dome is different, especially after the recent cold-weather games. The Pats also won't be flying out to Indy after a tiring trip to SD like they were in January 07, but I like the heat cranking strategy.

Just checked the Giants record in those dome games: Beat Arizona 31-27 (I'm guessing dome closed since gamebook says "outdoor weather 97º"), edged Dallas 37-34, trounced by Saints in week 12 (49-24).

Were the stadiums opened or closed in Arizona and Dallas?

wikipedia says closed for both. Their record in those 3 games was 2-1 (losing to the Saints)

The dome is one of the reasons I feel so good about this game. Brady kills it in domes and I think it is going to be really tough for the Giants to stop the Patriots offense in Indy.

Wow I didn't even realize this. And Brady finished about 200 yards behind Brees who had 11 dome games, that's crazy.

That is incredible...

That's very good news... Brady's indoor games are in the ridiculously good category!

Wow. Giants averaged 31 points in those three games but gave up serious points in all three as well, an average of 33 per game. SB46 will be a shootout.

The score will be Pats 33 - Giants 31.

The stupid camel is wrong.

interesting...i think Brady could have a good good game indoor
