Brady to Tom Curran after Ravens game

That's great stuff. Good line.

Lost in the hoopla over Curran's misfire on the projection of Brady's 2008 rehab is that Curran remains a) one of the more thoughtful football writers/media members we have in this area b) has solid access to the players, including and especially Brady c) has a good sense of humor, doesn't take himself too seriously, which helps point B.

Just thought I'd throw that out there as it's inevitable that any thread pertaining to a media member becomes a discussion on said media member.

Please do NOT fwd link to Brady's Mom. I'd hate to see him grounded and miss the SB.

Pi$$ed-off Brady is my favorite Brady....even better than Marsha.

Curran is a blowhard who does take himself too seriously. Curran doesn't have nearly the access to players that he used to.

The only good thing about Curran is that he's only slightly better than Breer and Felger..

This is Tom E. Curran? Not to be confused with Tom A., Tom J., or Tom C. Curran?

I liked Tom when he was a football reporter with the PJ. But he seems to now be confused if he's and entertainer or a reporter since he's been on TV so much.

I'd like to see TFB be a little less fired up, as I thought he was too fired up last week. Just be calmly focues and sharp.

"ask the league office, they're the experts"

I like intense Brady, but sometimes I wonder if he's TOO intense on the field during the plays. Now I'm not about to say I'd rather have the '01-'04 Brady right now for the playoffs, but watching him play in the Superbowl those years, he was SOO calm. He'd get fired up for big plays and everything, but nothing like he is now.

I'm not attacking you or your point in any way. I'm more making an observation that I think is legitimate. Here goes:

When Brady is calmly focused you get people saying that his body language indicates he's disinterested and he's not the same Brady. People start questioning whether or not he's truly interested.

Conversely, when he's jacked up and looks completely fired it, then people say that he needs to calm down and let the game come to him.

I seems like Mr. Brady can't win the battle of public perception.

And a negative discussion at that--just look at the posts after yours.
