Here is Pro Football Weekly's super 50. However I can get the top 10 with Brady ranked #3 but Gronk ranked #10.

I agree with that but half that list is a freaking joke. If we talking about a popularity contest, maybe.

Cam Newton being on there while Joe Flaco and Alex Smith not making the list is a joke. Brees above Tom is very crappy too. Even Tebow deserves it more. I guess everyone's obsession with yards and his record makes it ok, but to anyone with a little bit of knowledge you could see his loss in the playoffs coming a mile away because of his inefficiency.

I guess if we grade players on effort rather than overall contribution towards actually winning, sure. But if we take into consideration winning, Cam Newton's td-to-interception efficiency was damn near bottom of the league. Can't have a winning record with someone playing like that.

For rookies, he belongs, but no way in hell for football players. Put Steve Smith on the list instead. He's the main reason why Newton looked the way he did and gets no credit for it. Nothing made me cringe my teeth more than hearing how Newton was making Smith look good.

No he didn't. Drew Brees had more weapons than any freaking quarterback I have ever seen play the game. If he was anywhere near remotely as efficient as Brady or Rodgers, Saints would have absolutely tore through the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

That team is loaded on offense. It's unreal. He's had better years in the past actually. Just not this many weapons.

Apparently they weren't too torn to return Sunday. Can't see how this can't be taped and treated given the actual fact he could play on it.

Not than Brees. Better than Newton and Stafford. He was much more valuable to his team, took a 1-4 team into the playoffs, and won a playoff game against a good team.

Just based off of real accomplishment alone, Tebow should be ahead of those guys. And he was a more efficient passer than both of them. Not to mention if you consider passing yards in the air important, then yeah he belongs. He ended up the #1 in air yards efficiency. Nobody completed more passes by air at a better yards average % than Tebow.

But nobody wants to talk about it because it's Tebow. And he did it with one of the worst receiving squads in the league. Not like Newton and a Triple Crown winning receiver like Steve Smith or Megatron and Stafford.

People are going to be very surprised by Tebow come next year. His transformation will be "miraculous"...or so they will say. They'll talk about how much "he improved".

You know the whole Patriots defense sucks? This is the same story. Tim Tebow sucks as a passer. Two completely bogus stories that are a result of the way we track stats and weigh stats in football.

Revealing those stats to everyone would make too many popular quarterbacks look bad, and they would have to admit Tebow is a VERY accurate passer.


But no doubt it's more impressive and it requires more skill to accurately throw a 40 yard pass, then rack up ~2500 yards in yards after catch which is about what Brad, Brees, and Rodgers have.

I'm sorry but I don't find any skill in completing a 2 yard pass that goes for 20-30 yards. Reading defenses and completing passes in traffic is one thing, but to look at the yards Brees got and try to convince me he gets the credit when half of those have little to do with his own arm....pfffft. Same goes for Brady or Rodgers.

That stat doesn't impress me.

I'm bored of explaining it because most people are still stuck on the same old criteria but, I guess I'm smoking the same thing this guy is:

Tim Tebow's going to be one of the best Quarterbacks in the NFL. He hasn't had a full season worth of stats yet, but his interception efficiency at one point was absolutely mind boggling before he hit his 3 game skid. 1 out of 99 passing attempts over a span of 8 games. I don't even think Rodgers did that. And he didn't throw a pick in the playoffs either, despite being in the position he was against the Patriots. He remains completely disciplined at all times. And this is with bad receivers.

The thing is, it's not a fluke. The guy had the same type of efficiency in college, 3 years straight. He is one of the most efficient quarterbacks with one of the highest contribution to winning % to ever come out of college. RGIII is on the same level and better than Luck.

You look at his career college td-to-int% and int %...almost identical to his numbers in the NFL. That's just his personal level of discipline. He's very much like Tom Brady. An incredibly smart football player who understands the game and will end up surprising a lot of people.

Not to mention Tebow and his Broncos got past the Steelers while Stafford got murdered even with Megatron and Suh by the Saints.

it's unlikely this information got leaked this quickly. Though seeingthe replay, it got rolled pretty well (how they were saing high ankle sprain i have no idea)

I read the same thing on a site earlier. It went on to say that is common in even a minor sprain.

Watching the replay of the game, he was back in with 12 min remaining and was blocking on Brady's TD. But I think it effected his running ability on pass routes.

My opinion in watching him is that he won't be effected much come SB time.

Something tells me this is a more serious injury, just like it looked. I know players don't feel it the same day during the game.

As bad as it looked, I honestly thought it was a going to be a break when I first saw it. I hope they are right and it's minor, and they're not trying to hide it.
