I usually have a party at mynhouse but when the pats are in it. No one can come over as I hate talking and like to analyze everything. What about you?

My Fiancee and I will watch with another couple this year.

That's as much as I can handle. If they try and take us to a SB party I'll say no. I can't get into a game when I'm at an unfamiliar persons house.

I've watched just about every game alone/with my gf this year. Other years I was all about the having people over and crap but I live in San Diego and I'm trying to watch and enjoy the game so having people root against you just because is annoying. Oh, and I live with a Giants fans (very close friend) but I won't be watching with him. Like most Giants fans, he is obnoxious during games (the refs!! the refs!!!!).

I like watching with other fans, but I'd MUCH rather watch alone than watch with someone who doesn't care, isn't paying attention, and is annoying me.

Will be watching it with my dad. Only Pats fan I know around here.

If its the Pats playing - I watch it alone. Like you said - I hate analyzing games where Pats are playing. I need full concentration. I keep my wife and kids away for their own sake. At times I pause a crucial play and slomo it forward and honestly - it really works.

This time - because of the matchup and what's at stake - I am thinking of not watching it at all and then er the results and watch it again - without any pressure if we win. Not sure if I will be able to do that but just to keep my sanity and health - I might have to not watch it.

Already feeling so so stressed out. This is not good. Just imagining us winning it next Sunday!!!!! Is there anything called a Football-gasm because that's what I will have if they win. Go Pats!!!! Please please please beat the NY Giants. I cannot take another NYG victory at our expense and living in NJ. It will be better to move to Hell!

I'll have 1 or 2 friends and my brother over, that's pretty much all I can handle. Had a few extra people show up for one game earlier this season and this one guy's girlfriend wouldn't shut the blanc up. Even too much game related talk bothers me because I really like to pay close attention.

Send the wife over to her sisters and watch it with my brother-in-law...

No distractions..just football and lots of swearing !!

home alone part 19, I'll answer an occasional phone call from the family.

We take turns hosting the party every year but this year its going to be me and couple of friends who knows football and pats fans

We're going to a big SB party at our friends' home at 3, then leaving the wife and kids there while I skidaddle back at 6pm to hibernate for the game in the Shmessy Cave.

These are going to be the slowest 12 days ever.

....and I love it.

Me and two other friends that I've watched every game since I can't remember when.

Always with others. You win and lose as a team. How can you not want to watch it with other Pats fans. If I could go to the game I'd be watching it with many more people! ;)

My wife and I are having our usual SB party although every year it's hit or miss with how many people show up. Mind you, with the Pats playing this year, I'd prefer a few less people. Then again, most of our friends know that I get a "little" wound up when the Pats play...

I'm very very superstitious (or stupidstitious). The 3 SB's the Pats won, I was living in California with my ex-wife, and watched the games with her (she really didn't watch). Anyway, got divorced in 2006 and moved back to NY. So in my crazy warped superstitious mind, in 2008, I refused to watch it with my family or friends on the East Coast, since i didnt watch it with them when the Pats won. Obviously it didn't work (sorry guys, I blame myself). In fact, all 3 SB losses came when I was watching on the East Coast.

So I've actually checked out a possible 3 day weekend in San Francisco for SB weekend. I know it's crazy, but my superstition and love for the Pats may make me go west to watch the game. If I stay home (by myself), and the Pats lose, I may never forgive myself.

I'd be watching with family and friends if I were at home in Boston. Gets to hectic at Bars for me.

I say PatsFans.com take up a collection to help you pay for your 3 day weekend, anything to help the team.

My wife told me we were invited to a SB party (kids can go even). I told her to have fun. I might watch with a neighbor who's a Pats fan, but it's a school night so that may not happen.

73 inches of High def and I'll probably be about 5 feet from the screen.
