Man I wish I had the $$ to go

I got shut out too.

I'm going for sure. I may bring my wife and/or father if I can find reasonably priced tickets (like $1500/ea).

I never got an email, telling me either way. I usually get all the emails from them. It's odd that I got nothing. Do you have to enter yourself into the lottery or are season ticket holder automatically entered in?

I think you are automatically in the lottery. Not sure. The account is in my husband's name and he always pays for our tickets on-line, so he has some kind of account set up through his e-mail with the Pats. That's where he got the e-mail. Maybe you should call them with your season ticket account no. if you didn't get anything.

I haven't seen anything for less than about $2,300.00, and that's upper endzone corner. Lowest prices I saw last week were about $1,900.00 before we knew who was playing. I know I should be patient and wait until next week, but I hate the thought of getting shut out. Anybody know the deal with parking? I see lots of parking passes on e-bay.

I had the same question too about parking. You figure being a Sunday, street parking would have no meters but I have no idea how much street parking is available in Indy. Also parkwhiz.com is selling reserved spots for a garage. Prices have seemed to go down from yesterday, haven't bitten yet on a pass though.

That's what I've seen too. I'm hoping prices go down by next week, but I'm not too confident with two fanbases with many wealthy members.

Go to the team ticket page and they have a link to enter your account # and zip code. it tells you right away how you fared.

LOL. Isn't New York northeast of PA? Looks like they do a bang-up job with geography in Indy.

You can’t be surprised by this are you? School is only mandatory through 3rd grade I think. I was at a Waffle house there and my change came to $6.66. The folks behind the counter freaked and they gave me back $6.67 cents. People think nothing of coming up to you and asking you what church you belong to. They think that is being friendly.

And I thought you were tight with Solder. :)

You can always hit up Vince. Maybe he will remember you from the plane to HI and drop a couple tickets on you.

Are there any Pats fans who live in Indy? You guys can witness the enire thing.

The problems are same as always at this stage: most ticket listings/ads are brokers working on spec because not all the tickets have been distributed yet. I hate brokers with a passion. I hate the whole greedy racket involved with the bulk of Super Bowl tickets going to corporate/business interests who don't care about football and want to cash in. It makes no sense for the average person (like me) to attempt going. But I won't let common sense stop me from trying.

Wow, what a memory you have!

Hey guys this is a question for those of you who have been to the Super Bowl in previous years. How long before kick off should one get to the stadium, I think they have security checks?

Thanks and GO PATS!!

My question is which Bar/Sports place are we taking over? Watching the game or hanging out prior to it will be better (and maybe safer knowing tools from New York) in numbers.

Spencer's Stadium Tavern
802 S West St
Indianapolis, IN 46225

Joe runs the place and will be filling us in on more info in the next couple of days as to what he has planned. Being a local, I'm sure he can answer many questions for those traveling into town.

Figured there'd be more millionaires on here lol

My father has a friend through business that goes to the game almost every year. He's asked my dad to come a few times but he's never gone (despite constant prodding from all of us lol). I asked him to call him up and see what he could do, but it's def a longshot.

Would be just incredible.

A couple of hours. Traffic moves with relative ease.

Yes, they have security lines, but theyre very efficient.

Tailgating isnt allowed. The Cops will tell you to go inside or to jail. 1 beer at SB42 was $20.00 to fore warn you.

See you guys there.
