There is a lot riding on this game:

- Brady winning a 4th ring might not make him the consensus greatest ever, but it would completely and throughly end the ridiculous Brady vs. Peyton debate once and for all. 4>1, not to mention Brady's regular season stats, the TD record, 5,200 yards in a season, his TD/INT ratio, 17-6 playoff record (compared to 9-10) and his regular season record, there would be nothing Colt fans and Peyton apologists could ride on other than bulk regular season statistics, a lot of that accomplished in the distant past and he's also played 3 more full seasons.

- It would shut up the spygate people. Anyone with half a brain know spygate is bs, but it would shut up the people who say "They haven't won anything since Spygate."

- While it wouldn't erase the sting of SB 42 (a perfect season was on the line) it would still be revenge on the biggest stage.

- For Colt fans, seeing the Pats win, even if by 1 point, in their own stadium, would be like getting sodomized while watching the Grady Little/Aaron Boone game on repeat for Boston fans. Not to mention the first point of the Brady>Peyton.

I want this win more than anything. I would pass up a weekend getaway with any 2 women of my choice for this win. Seriously, if you told me I could walk down the streets of Boston and pick any two women and they would pay for a trip to anywhere of my choice and have all of the sex I wanted with both of them, I'd choose this SB win no question.

I've been waiting for this opportunity as a fan since 42, but wanted no part of the Giants.

That being said, I think it's the other way around from 42. Giants are ****y since they've had our number, Brady and Belichick are more humble and hungry and won't let this opportunity go by.

I'm fully expecting a lot of trash talk from the Giants and some idiot from the Giants to guarantee a win.

They BETTER do something to protect Brady though. I mean, where have the screen passes been all year?

Not that he's going to need the extra support, but Belichick's legacy as the Greatest Coach of All-Time is being cemented.

All the talk about how the Patriots might have the worst defence to ever play in the Super Bowl, and what not... well guess which defence is playing in Indy. That's right.

The media, despite doing their best to critique Coach for the D... have actually solidified the legacy.

I suppose if there's any good news, the Ravens D is just as good as the Giants, Brady had an off-game and we still put up 23. That probably won't be enough to beat the Giants. But even if Brady just has a "typical Brady game" they'll put up 30 and force the Giants to win a shootout.

This Ravens D is far better than the Giants. The Giants have a better pass rush but at the same time, their line backers and most certainly their secondary is no where near the ravens talent level. We protect Brady, stay balanced and he makes good decisions along with the D limiting the big plays we win the game.

This Ravens D is far better than the Giants. The Giants have a better pass rush but at the same time, their line backers and most certainly their secondary is no where near the ravens talent level. We protect Brady, stay balanced and he makes good decisions along with the D limiting the big plays we win the game.

I feel the same way as well. The Giants, to me, have the best Defensive Ends in the NFL. That NASCAR package, when they put in four defensive ends on the line(and another in the LB corps with Mathias K.) is just a downright dominant passrush. I have never seen anything like it before. But at the same time, their overall D is nowhere near as good as the Ravens. Their linebacking corps and secondary is highly suspect if you ask me.

But if they can get to Brady as they did in the SB and this year, it doesn't matter how suspect their linebackers and secondary is. Protecting Brady is the number one key to this game.

Btw, I change my mind. If Rachel Weisz and Alice Eve were the two women and I didn't have to pay a dime, I'd take them to some beach resort where we could skinny dip and drink mojitos all day long and let the Pats lose this SB.

I'm sure everyone on the team and the coaching staff realizes what this game means. Not so much for the historical Brady/Belichick accomplishments, but just the past four years alone being a gradual climb back to the top. Miss the playoffs with 11 wins after your QB gets his knee busted. Lose the first game back to playoffs in an ugly manner. Lose to the Jets in the playoffs. This is a big opportunity for guys who have been with the team a few years now but were never a part of the first dynasty. With free agency and the salary cap being what it is, some of these guys will never get a chance like this again.

There is no 19-0 hanging over people's heads this time. If they go out and focus on executing correctly, they'll get the hardware.
