I'm sure this has been talked about at some point but I'd be up all night trying to go through all the threads.

When I saw the playclock running down and then Cundiff jogging into position for the final FG, I was screaming, BEGGING Belichick not to call timeout to ice him. I knew the play would be at least a little bit rushed and all a timeout would have done is settle them into position. I was beyond overjoyed to see him miss. (after very breafly thinking we had lost. I was so quick to react to what I thought was a Lee Evans TD, I had already stood up to leave the room when my friend had to tell me he dropped it.)

Not to be facetious, but what would be the point of calling a TO there? There's a reason that both BB and Terrell Suggs were dumbfounded at the miss. . . .

Exactly. You know there's coaches out there though that would have called it. It would have done nothing more than give Cundiff a chance to relax and remember what an easy FG attempt it was.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure others were too.

This is why he gets paid the big bucks. :D

Yes, but BB's not that ignorant. . . . especially if he sees Ratbirds doing their best impressions of decapitated chickens. :D

Harbaugh should have called the TO, they were rushing to get the kick in with the game clock running down, the kicker was on the other side of the stadium checking out the cheerleaders when he should have been right there ready to run in and kick.
Maybe Harbaugh thought he was better not thinking about the kick but it didnt work out for him.

I have never believed in the "icing" thing.

I have never believed in "icing" the kicker, especially when ever single one of the kickers ever interviewed says that it has no effect upon them.
