First off, YEAH!! SUPERBOWL BABY!!!! WHOOO!! Defense played great, we had some lucky breaks. Whatever it takes to win.

That said...

What the HELL.... *HELL* was with that long bomb pass to SLATER with 6 minutes to go in the 4th after the Pats interception?

Was that not the single most stupid play you've ever seen called? Brady was clearly off all day, and so he's going to throw long to a special teamer?

All we needed to do was march it down for a few first downs, and instead we're throwing dangerous passes?

Awful play. Awful decision on Brady's part.

I know we're all excited, but this NEEDS to be discussed.

There have been a group of people (I am a part of that group), who thinks that BOB sucks, well that's why.

That was dreadful.
I cant believe BOB called that and Brady actually tried it.

Youre at a point where one minute is worth more than one point. What were they thinking?

It was a bonehead decision, but it wasn't the first of the game that the Patriots made.

They went for the dagger, I don't blame them because they were trying to soften up the D but in trip. cov? UGH!!!

Take it as a learning experience. Bring on the NFC!!! Biatches!

really dumb play call, but w/e

superbowl baby!

(not like we can say fire the offensive coordinator hes gone anyway)

This is on the coaches, too, since STer Slater came in, like he did earlier in the season against Miami. But then the Phins were caught by surprise. Not the case today.

Baltimore was coached up, and Brady threw it into triple coverage as Baltimore's DBs were on to us.

This is on Billy O'Brien. He was trying to force plays on occasion. And this was one of 'em.

I was so angry when it happened, because it was a very un-Patriot move. Would love to get a video breakdown on what the hell Brady was thinking.

The ball has been bouncing our way this year. :D

Brady made a bad decision to throw into double coverage.

Couldn't agree more with you. Bad play call not sure if it was Brady's though. We were running it well too,,so was shocked to see the play unfold ! We won though . GO PATS.

I admit I was pretty upset after that play. The Patriots had the game in their hands at that point, and the one thing they didn't need was a turnover on a low-percentage play.

Obviously they were trying to catch the Ravens off guard, but that wasn't the time to get cute.

Nothing wrong with taking a shot if its there. It was so obviously covered that I can't believe Brady threw it.

Brady was really bad. I am actually in shock. It is not as if he did not have time. He just was forcing things over and over and over. When he had to change plays, he failed to do so. Then to even listen to whoever called the play and go ahead and throw that dumb ball was too stupid.
He does not trust the defense and it shows by the stupid throws he is making.

I wonder if that was BOB or Josh....

Was very surprised by this move, expected us to shave some minutes off the clock. I suppose it was a gamble to put pressure on the ravens but didn't work out.

I don't have that much of a problem with the play call, I actually like the agression. But it was a terrible decision by Brady to make the throw. When he saw Slater was double covered, he should have just dumped it off. Thats a play where you have the option to go deep, but you can't force it.

Give the Ravens some credit for making that play. That was a great tip and catch.

I was so mad and confused as why they would do something so stupid. Also the fact that the pass was thrown to Slater shows how bad our WR's are when it comes to go deep. Brandon Lloyd should fix this :rocker:
