Voted for Tom but saddened that Eugene Chung wasn't on the list. :p

Let's just hope he is still sweeping the nation after the playoffs.

I'm glad Tom's on top, but wouldn't you think that David Ortiz would get some consideration as the most clutch in baseball?

Every state! Tom Brady is the best.

I hate baseball but why isnt Ortiz on there?

I would assume he's disqualified because he's a DH. Or so the MVP voters say, anyway.

No love for DHs in baseball. :(

Notice that Rivers is noticeably absent from the list of nominees. :D :singing:

You guys watching ESPN now talk about Brady now

If Ortiz were on the list, he might be leading over Tom. Really stupid leaving him off, and it's not because he DHs. People don't talk very much about coming up big defensively in baseball. Thing is, it's football season, playoffs to boot, so that's what's on people's minds. So, we have the two top clutch guys in New England.

Brodeur who?

Mike Vanderjagt!

Ortiz probably isn't on there because they didn't want two guys from Boston ... so they had to go with Jeter because there wasn't any way they could put someone besides Brady for the football nominee.

Jeter ... please.

Also a "body of work" kind of thing, IMO. Jeter has multiple rings where he was the leader of all the teams. Ortiz is as clutch as they come, but that has only been for the last couple of years here in Boston.
