Will Ray Lewis bring a knife to a gun fight?

I'm sorry guys.. I just don't see a 31st ranked defence winnng an AFC Championshp.. much less a Superbowl.

I don't care who your QB is.

Drew Brees and Aaron Rogers are pretty damn good too..

They got their reality check.

Yours is on its way.

Maybe Next Year.. Brady ain't going anywhere and your offense is relatively young.

Well its a good thing it doesn't matter what you "see".

I like it. I think the Pats can hold on to beat the Ravens.

The yards per game is fun to use when other teams fans want to make themselves feel better, but yards dont equal points. Ever check the points per game ranking? It kind of ruins that worst defense in the league fairy tale.

brees and rodgers had horrible outings in the playoffs (by their standards), if you're a ravens fan, id suggest you get with Tebow and start praying that Brady has one too, otherwise too bad for you

my advice though? brady will NOT be having anything close to a horrible outing

The problem of course is that the D is ranked 15th in POINTS ALLOWED which of course the goal of a D to not allow points, yardage is down the list.

I would also suggest you look at the D performance in the last 10 games, markedly better than the first 7 games.

It is also much healthy than it has been all season.

So have fun whistling past the graveyard about out D your reality check will come tomorrow from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.

BTW Pats 34, Ravens 13. Enjoy, thanks for stopping by ;)

The only thing that matters is who the worst defense is tomorrow.

I'm betting it's gonna be yours.

I'm sorry, Ratbirds troll. I just don't see an erratic, mentally fragile quarterback like Flacco taking advantage of even the league's 31st-ranked defense in a high-stakes championship game, much less the Super Bowl. I don't care who your running back is. DeMarco Murray, LeSean McCoy and Jamaal Charles are pretty damn good too.

I'd like to say maybe next year for you, but I don't see that either. Your defense will be taking a step back next year and beyond.

Yea, what Brees and Rodgers did has everything to do with how the Patriots and Brady will do on Sunday:rolleyes::rolleyes: Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Let's just see how it plays out, previous games don't matter and games played by other teams in other conferences definitely don't matter either.

I see an even matchup, with NE possesing the greater ability to adjust.

Drew Brees and the Saints lost 36-32, so it's not as if the offense was stopped.

The Packers just stunk out the joint.

We'll know tomorrow which team (and fan base) is in for a reality check.

Actually, if you believe in the law of averages, an elite offense (Patriots) is due to beat an elite defense (Ravens). I can't remember if it was CHFF, FO, or some other site; but if you look at playoff matchups over the years, a top offense vs a top defense is about 50/50.

RealityCheck52, comparing past realities to predict future events is okay unfortunately it's not reality:rolleyes:

The thing is, the packers and the pats this year had some of the worst defense number wise in the NFL history, the packers found out they REALLY have the worst defense in the playoffs this year, will the pats prove that numbers never lie, or numbers always lie, the answer will be on sunday

Basicly, I think the pats D is going to find out are they better than the number suggested all year long or are they actually worse than the numbers, should be interesting

From a former Usenet right-back-at-you post reworder: nicely done! :rocker:

Now, I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six touchdowns or only five?' To tell you the truth, I forgot myself in all this excitement. But being as this is a 12 Brady, the most powerful quarterback in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you have to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky?...Well? Do ya, punk?
