Bledsoe the final honorary captain

If the wine is as mellow as his attitude has become even about Bill, the wine must be pretty good. From his conference call today:

Q: Do you rank Bill Belichick among the top head coaches in NFL history?

DB: He certainly has to be in that conversation. I don’t know who you put up there with him in terms of his record with the Patriots and what he did as a defensive coordinator with the Giants prior to that. Then coming back and being a defensive coordinator with the Patriots in ’96. Obviously the run he’s had as the head coach of the Patriots has been unmatched. If he’s not the greatest, I like to meet whoever else is in that conversation.

They're not going to let him toss the coin, however, for fear it might get picked off by a linebacker

...I wonder how Drew and his winery business is coming a long..

He has a coffee business, too, I think.

I like the honorary captains idea, btw. Hope Gillette is fired up Sunday.

Would've rather seen Willie Mac. Drew was just back.

Willie Mac or Milloy would have mended some bridges and been cool.

Would have loved to see that, but to be fair Willie is an employee of the NFL and probably can't show allegiance even if he wanted to, and Lawyer Milloy is on the active roster of another NFL team.

It started out great and people got really excited but they a few mediocre, underachieving seasons and it had to give way to a better winery who just worked harder and wanted it more.

i did not understand what you meant by this

he's just joking by saying Drew's winery went through the same stages as Drew's football career lol

ah haha. So i am assuming bledoes doing great in that winery business

According to his twitter account, Lawyer Milloy will be there, not as a captain, though.

How's the girl he crippled during the Mosh pit incident?

Nice karma choice.

This organization owes a debt of gratitude to Bledsoe, and they acknowledge it.

Well, Drew always gave us highs and lows...

That's Cool! I've always liked Bledsoe. He came up BIG VS Steelers in AFCCG replacing Brady when Steelers hit him with a low cheap shot. Crazy how things turned out. With all that history maybe Mo Lewis should be H'Capt as well lol
