Ravens Fans: Will You Stick Around If Your Team Loses Sunday?

Just kidding. I mean I personally enjoy hearing what other team's fans have to say the week before a big game. If we lose, I will probably read some of the threads but not post. On the bright side, I probably won't post again if we win either.

Just kidding. I mean I personally enjoy hearing what other team's fans have to say the week before a big game. If we lose, I will probably read some of the threads but not post. On the bright side, I probably won't post again if we win either.

I can see why fans of other teams wouldn't necessarily stay, because this isn't their home board, after all.

However, we have some nice fans who post here from the Saints, the Steelers, the Chargers, and even the Jets.

There are some cool boards out there. I just usually do it to get a little deeper understanding of what to expect the next week. Some folks on here have got some good thoughts and it's always more interesting to watch the game with a little better understanding of what your opponent has been doing all year. Ideally I'd watch every single NFL game, but that isn't very practical so this is a nice way to learn.

But by no means should you take it as any kind of insult if folks don't stick around. I mean it is kind of tough to think about football right after your season ends, and of course a lot of the interest comes from looking forward to the next game.

Thanks for being cool though and not automatically assuming any fan of another team is a total troll.

There are some cool boards out there. I just usually do it to get a little deeper understanding of what to expect the next week. A lot of people here are cool, and they'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Others, however, will attack you mercilessly once you reveal you're a fan of another team.

I suppose the impression a fan of another team would get of this board would be greatly influenced by whomever he first encounters here.

I can't wait until this week is over. Even if the Patriots lost (very likely), you guys will be gone by 2 weeks from now at the very latest. I never really had any problems with most fans of the Jets, Steelers, Dolphins, Chargers, Giants, Colts, Bills...pretty much any team, actually. The absurd amount of trash talk and blind "WELL UR DEFENSE SUX CUPCAKE SCHEDULE 33-14 33-14 18-1 LOLOL" bull**** has completely redefined my view of Ravens fans. If a Patriots fan goes onto your boards and acts like you guys are acting here, please ban him/her promptly with no warning.

Funny I feel the same way about your baltimoreravens.com board. Might be the worst collection of know nothings on a forum I have seen in my travels around the internet. I think it might be worse than finheavan and I never thought I would say that.

A few guys on there seem to know some stuff, but the overall majority are blowhards.

But you are free to leave anytime you want. And unlike you I have choosen not post on your board. And then ***** about the experience on the board.

Just curious did you play football at any level above Jr High?

But the type of tard were dealing with on this forum, is the ****y-tard. The worst kind, the kind who only looks to espn for their sports knowledge, then acts like they know everything about football because of watching espn. (this is not describing all of you)

Well i'd like to apologize for the behavior of many of my fellow Baltimore fans. If you ever come to Baltimore you'll be amazed at the tailgate scene and the hospitable fans, but you'll always run into those loose cannons every once in a while.

I will say that your arrogance is something that EVERYONE says about PATS fans in general. I'm okay with you thinking we're a bunch of idiots. You haven't shown me any reason to give your opinions any credibility.
But despite my skeptic nature, I'll concede that the general consensus of Pats fans are that they are arrogant and know nothing about non-Patriot related football.

I tried talking to you reasonably, but you go and say something dumb or insulting to the board. You get called on it and then whine about getting called out on.

Didn't exactly come with anything nice to say or even pretend to act as if you came here to discuss actual football.

And just for good measure you couldn't even talk smack without screwing it up. And then when called out on it your response is well I was talking about 2009. Great except that wasn't the last time you came to our house.

By talking/debating with you I went and broke a rule I try to adhear to: Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
