Two categories:

(1) Favorite TD.
(2) Favorite non-TD plays.

Mine:

(1) Brady-to-Branch (with all due respect to GRONK).
(2) Shaun Ellis' blind-siding sack of Tebow after he had already fallen to the ground. That was the kind of fight that was missing from this team in 2009.

Hernandez laying the wood on the DB after the int.

Spikes emotion on defense...

the tom brady punt and the audio that i could hear when the whole scuffle ensued.

someone already mentioned this, but the shaun ellis sack was awesome

glad brady recovered after that pic. i glad he didn't shell up, and wasn't psychologically scarred ..

The opening drive TD, I was nervous that we will be one and done again, wouldn't sleep the night before the game, and oh boy, ain't brady cleared my fears quick enough, who doesn't like a TD under 2 min since the game begin?

Tom brady's punt, that's a statement, a message to the entire NFL that watch out for us!

When has he ever done that?

1 - Brady to Branch
2 - Tie between Brady punt and Ellis' hit on Tebow

I'll start with #2:

The sequence on D after the Branch TD. Pats called a timeout after one play because they wanted one more shot at scoring with the ball. Then Tebow throws the ball behind the receiver on 3rd down (called a drop, but that was not a good throw) to ensure the Pats have some time to try and score again with about a minute left.

#1:

The TD to Gronk right before halftime. There were 10 seconds left before the play, ball on the 19yd line. The only way the Pats score a TD is on *this* play because anything shy of the endzone and the Pats are kicking the FG since there will be 5 or fewer seconds left in the half. One play to get a 19yd score is not trivial, yet the Pats pulled it off.

Both of these combined for an amazing clinic on situational awareness, time management and precise execution. Beautiful to watch.

Regards,
Chris

TD - Brady to Branch

Non TD - Brady punt

Brady coming out and systematically marching down the field in less than two minutes to score. It was if he was saying, "Take that! And That! And That!" all you lousy stinkin' doubters! Now he just has to do it twice more and we will be home free!

1. Loved the change of direction from Hernandez on his TD.
2. The O-line showing Von Miller the error of his ways.

Spot on. I was thinking go for the FG but take one shot at the EZ figuring that Denvah would have the EZ full of 8 defenders. My bad.

Watching the sequence unfold live from your point #2 onwards I was thinking how lucky we Patriots fans are to have a coach, QB and team that is so far above the norm in strategizing and efficiently using the clock. The championship teams' trademark was often a last minute hurry up score before the half. The deuce TD took that trademark over the top. What a joy to re-watch yesterday.

not so much a moment as a factor.....

the DL's relentless mauling of the Broncos OL was artistic.....their OL is by no means a bunch of chumps and they were kicked around like stray cats

When re-watching the game, the announcers commented at the start that the Donks had "the best OL in football". I don't think so. GREAT job by the front 7 plus.

1. I am always borderline shocked when branch catches a bomb.

2. That Ellis sack was awesome.

Seeing Von Miller get slammed after the Brady Punt.

The Shaun Ellis hit on Tebow comes in at as a close 2nd place.

maybe not the best, but they're pretty damned good.....clady, beadles, kuper, watson, etc.....these guys know how to play....they got manhandled.....now outside of mckinney, the ravens OL is similar....they can be manhandled the same way, and mckinney is big, be he doesn't get out there like he used to

I liked Gerard Warren's gator chomp. I didn't take it as a statement to Tebow (though others surely may have), but just a spontaneous reaction going back to his college days. I really liked seeing a normally reserved veteran like him being that happy and animated.

As for a scoring play that's tough to pick only one, but I think I'll go with the touchdown to Branch.

1. The Hernandez TD. The move he put on the DB was sooooo nasty

2.
(2) Shaun Ellis' blind-siding sack of Tebow after he had already fallen to the ground. That was the kind of fight that was missing from this team in 2009.

The stadium erupted when Ellis crushed Tebow....and erupted once again when they showed the replay. Loved that play.
