That's exactly how I see these playoffs shaping up for the Patriots.
First up will be the Ravens and then the Giants.
Mr. Thomas Edward Brady will be playing the part of Michael Corleone.
Don't really care how the D is looking or not looking. I don't believe Tom Brady will be denied this year. He will settle all Patriot family business.

!!!! I thought of that exact same thing. It would be cool if they could beat the teams which caused them the biggest heartache. Denver in 05, Ravens in 09 and then the Giants in 07. I thought of the EXACT ANALOGY. He's talking to Carlo and tells him "Barzini's dead...tataglia...strachi...today I settle all family business!".

I just hope they pull it off. I will be so bummed if they don't.

Yeah that's exactly the scene I was thinking about. :D
Brady just has that "edge" about him this year. I also don't underestimate for one second how much Myra Kraft's passing has impacted this team in terms of pulling this group closer together.
With all the heartbreaking losses in recent years how sweet will this run be against these teams?? Can't wait until next Sunday.
Hope they bring some oxygen tanks for old man Ray Ray and his mates. Patriots O is going to up tempo/no huddle them into respiratory distress. ;)

And finish it off in Indianapolis!

That also settles a little bit of the 2006 business!

I love the godfather so i'm all for it.

Yeah. And, don't forget that the AFC is the "Home" team in the SB this year so Indy would have to clear out its locker-room for the Patriots. Maybe Brady will do something really great (OK, juvenile, but still great), and carve his initials into Peyton's locker, something like "TB, SB XLVI." .

There's some other family business that should be taken care of as well. Bernard Pollard must be taken out. Maybe when Brady is doing a QB sneak to gain the 1st down he could somehow or what they say "accidently" lunge at Pollard's knee??

Let's focus on getting revenge for that 2009 debacle in Foxborough and not overlook the best defense we've played all year just yet. I usually don't toe the team line, but this time I will. One game at a time, boys.

The vaunted Ravens Defense were 5-3 on the road during the regular season with losses to Tennessee, Jacksonville & Seattle. Contain their O and the D is average at best.

Outside of the 2009 debacle the Patriots have had the measure of Baltimore (even in light of the tight contests). It should be a good match, one I am looking forward too.

Which defense is better though the 2010 Jets D or this Ravens D??

They were 4-4 on the road this year don't forget about the Chargers blowout, another trend for the Ravens this year is they alternated between losing and winning on the road never losing 2 straight or winning 2 straight which bodes well for the Patriots if the trend holds since the won their last road game.

Also the Ravens only played 2 teams in the top 10 on offense: San Diego (who blew them out 34-14) and Houston (without Andre Johnson) while we played 3 of the top 10 teams (Jets, Steelers, and Eagles) in Defense winning 3 out of 4.

My bad, I completely forgot about the Chargers game! Thanks for the correction.

Just listened to Brady on D&C, and he sounded confident as hell. He admitted he watched the games yesterday and has already started on the Ravens.
