The return of BB The Def Genius?

Spikes and Chung make a huge difference just in their demeanor. They are nasty and I think they inspire others on the D. A mention for Sterling Moore here, too; he brings some swagger.

Actually, if the Patriots have a parade this year you shouldn't even be at it.

Who the **** are you? Are you mad because I made you look like a fool? Must be.

This performance looked different than any other this season no?

Preseason game against Tampa Bay in Tampa Bay and the second Jets game in New Jersey.

Other than those two, this was the only other time I saw BB allow the rushers to pin their ears back and go unleashed.

I love the attack dog defense, and I think the players do too.

Oh because I said heads should roll if they lose to Denver. Yeah I must not be a real fan.. Losing 3 straight playoff games at home and to a high school offense and a far weaker team in every aspect. You wouldn't have been pissed if we lost I'm sure. Ha move along.

temper your expectations on this defense. BB had a nice gameplan on a high school option offense. He's a great coach who had a perfect defensive gameplan. If they hold the Ravens to 10 points, I'll lead the defense is great parade.

Exactly what did Flacco do today at home in that 17-13 win on turnovers that made you think he is anything more than Tebow without the running ability?

Flacco can throw the ball? I seriously hope you'r not saying they are on the same level passing wise. He wasnt very good to day, but he can beat you by throwing. More so than Tebow anyway.

The only person you are making look like a fool is yourself with your tantrums about how much the Patriots suck. You have made clear how much they suck so i don't see how you can enjoy their success.

best thing is... if we truly are peaking defensively, we didn't tip ourselves off yesterday because that gameplan is irrelevant vs the other 30 teams in the league.

Why do you care so much what I post? Grow up. I've called it like I've seen it. The defense hasnt been very good this season, being realistic is a no-no apparently. Take off your rose colored glasses, it's ok to be critical of your team.

You have said much more than that, and even after the win you attribute it to how bad the opponent was. you are a constant stream of misery and negativity and seem to believe that is warranted by the performance of the winningest team in their sport. The Patriots aren't good enough for you, that much is very clear.

Flacco is God-awful. He has some extremely acrobatic WR's like Boldin and Evans who made unconscious catches today - - otherwise that was a Tebow-like performance (only by a statue).

Is he as bad as Tebow? No. But he isn't that far off.

I've said, I worry about Rice running wild and keeping Brady on the bench. Putting him on Tebow's level is a little much. I definitely don't think he'll torch us. I'll be very impressed if we can shut down Rice with Leach leading the way. That could be a problem, our LB's fighting through the block.

And i am calling it like i read it, you have been vocal about how much they suck so don't expect to be leading any parades.

And you are a real fan, a really bad one.

Now go on back to daydreaming about who should be fired................

I said before the game genius, we should destroy them. I said they were a weak team, where was I wrong? So being right means I'm less of a fan than some random guy following me around. You're in no position to question someone's fanhood. Grow up kid, this isnt the place for you.

I also gave props to Sterling after the game, I was excited for how he did and what some individuals did. Why am I even responding to you? Buzz off.

It should be said that the Pats blew up a Broncos O-Line that Jim Nantz had just finished telling us was the best in the business . . . that's a promising sign no matter who is playing QB.

You're a casual fan, that's the problem. Probably don't live anywhere close to NE or follow them closely. Losing 3 home playoff games in a row is fine to you. Laughable.

I'm done with you.

I can agree with this. Baltimore has an excellent running attack.

However, so did Denver. In fact, I remember Simms and Nantz last night opining that theirs was the best OL in the NFL.

If the Pats can shut down the Baltimore run attack, then Flacco will not be able to shoulder the burden.

You are right, comparing him to Tebow was a bit harsh.

Let's see how he measures up to Mark Sanchez:

Sanchez: 26TD 18Int 3,474 yds 78.2 Rating

Flacco: 20TD 12 INT 3,610 yds 80.9 Rating

Having enough personnel back healthy was enough to put Gary Guyton on the inactive list. That move alone suffices for an improved defense.:D

And the Ravens dont have the best o line either so I like the match up

Ravens have a few more weapons on offense than Denver. But Flacco won't give you fits by escaping the pocket like Tebow does. Boldin and Evans are real players. Baltimore's defense is overall more solid than Denver's as well. Ed Reed and Webb are talented and dangerous players. The Raven's front 7 is led by Ngata and Lewis. So that's more to deal with there.

However I am confident that the Pats will have a good plan of attack. I havent seen a team yet that can stop our dynamic tight ends. Welker and Branch will make teams pay as well if they focus too much on trying to stop Rob and Aaron. And best of all our offensive line showed up big time. Wow, wasn't Waters a great pickup? It's nice not to worry about plugging a gaping weakness in the OL for once.
