Don't they have to be the favorites now? Everyone will expect them to "pull the road upset" and beat SF next week, and I doubt the Pats would be favored over them given their recent history (maybe the Ravens would be).

Not that it really matters, but I think it's interesting because throughout '07 and this season until now the Giants have always been the underdogs, and they always seem to play better with that label.

Idk..but they have a very good chance to win it

I really hope 49ers Whoop them next week!

lol this question will be answered at 6 next sunday

NYG could win it all. But after this weekend, the NEP clearly have the best QB remaining.

Is it a QB league or does D still win championships ? We'll see...

One GIANT Upset

Remix of Flo Rida's low:

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers just can't get a win at home! 2 weeks of rest and they just can't seem to turn it on! 15 and 2!!!! Your season's through!!!!!! 49ers-niners-niners-niners.......

Go Patriots! And Go Giants! Super Bowl 42 rematch. Make it happen.

No I don't think so.

As a great coach would have said

I'm not looking past the Ravens. Nor should the Giants be looking past the 49ers.

But I think the idea of the Giants being favored, finally, is an interesting one.

Everybody knows about the Giants D Line, but I was absolutely floored by how well that secondary played. Rogers typically has guys open all over the field. He had to hold the ball forever today.

I think if we have a Superbowl 42 rematch I think they should be.

After all, since beating us in Superbowl 42, they also beat us at home WITHOUT Nicks and Bradshaw playing this season. What would they do on neutral turf with those two playing?

Disclaimer: I personally want a rematch and think we would defeat them in a rematch this season - I think we'll make adjustments necessary against them if we do happen to play but I don't see how they can consider the Patriots favorites if we get matched up against each other again.

I'd rather have all media talking about how the Giants smacked us around in those two games and (if they beat the 49ers) how they are on a roll, on a mission, Eli is elite, and how their elite pass rush will sack Brady 5 times. They would have to be favorites and let them have all the pressure on them going into that game.

Man, so many potential great story cards for a SB matchup - if the Pats win, they either get a rematch with the Giants, which would be ridiculously pumped up. If they get San Fran, they get a sudden resurrected franchise and TB's boyhood team. If it's the Ravens/Niners, you have two brothers going at it.

The one horrible matchup is Ravens/Giants. There is nothing there for me to even find remotely interesting.

Yes there is, last time the Ravens were in the Superbowl, they dismantled the Giants.

SF is at home so thats a big advantage but I think the Giants will get in and it could very well be the 07 rematch. Ratings will be through the roof.

Beczuse of what happened in the year that escapes my memory, I do think the Giants will be favored to win it all. I mean the Pats still have the last ranked D in the league, just ask Marshall, the niners don't have an offense that will be able to keep up with Eli the "Elite", same goes for the Ravens.

Just ask the experts, they will tell you this is true.

Nicks, Manningham and Cruz are just plain nasty....

Nope..Pats are def the favs!

I could care less about the Pats being the favorite. None of this stuff matters @ the end of the day. If Brady keeps playing like a man possessed, nobody's beating them.
