The freaking patriots are playing in the AFCCG in a week from now!

I was at the game last night and it just hit me now.

Certainly a different experience being at the game than watching on TV...

Watching on TV, it hit me at 35-7.

Back where they belong!

Order must and will be restored next Sunday as they take back the AFC crown and soon NFL supremacy!

GO PATS!!!

Sixth time in 11 years. And of those years they didn't get that far I can think of two where you could say they blew a good chance (Division Playoff losses Denver 05-06, Jets last year). That's some sustained success.

I believe it will "hit" the Providence, RI economy by Thursday.

IIRC, the Pats usually designate Providence as the official media/credential host city for the AFCCG each time they've been in since 1996.

It is like a 3-4 day mini-convention.

It hit me last night at about 1:00am. As a result, I didn't fall asleep until 4:00am.

It's good to be the King!

Love it..just got my tix to next week

CAN'T WAIT

It hit me when Tebow completed an 80 yard TD pass to Thomas in OT:D

Its been to long. I dont care who we play. If our defense played the way the did in the last game. We will go all the way!
On the other hand no one will stop the Tom Brady I saw last night.

It hasn't really hit me yet.

My first reaction is still the euphoria of such an epic and utterly complete butt kicking of an opponent that so many seemed convinced would give the Pats a hard time that I started to doubt my own instinct and logic about the probable outcome of the game.

The secondary reaction is the realization that I don't have to hear quite so much 'one and done' and a great deal less 'haven't won since' BS from certain very annoying co-workers.

Honestly the realization that the Pats are not only playing in the conference championship, but are in it for the sixth time in eleven years - think about that, six times in eleven years - no, that hasn't hit me yet.

Or from Patriots fans posting on this board:rolleyes:

I cant wait, I think we can not only get to the SB but WIN it!

I hope they go on a GFY NFL tour.

Everyones favourite team to hate going all the way.

rack up the score.
