I know the game just ended but I'm wondering if he's alright as he took a pretty brutal shot on a stupid play late in the 4th quarter.

Gronk mumbled that he's fine during post-game interview. I'll take that as gospel. Interviewer did say it was his head so not a leg injury at least.

Also Hernadez is a "Beast" according to Gronk :rocker:

Gronk said he was feeling great, BB said he's day to day.

FWIW, Curran and another guy just said they saw him after the game and he was lucid and having conversations with the other players. They think he'll be OK for next week.

But neither Curran or the other guy are doctors.

Well I hope he can at least talk to the other players! Concussions are slippery things so it will probably be a couple of days before there's any sign, if he in fact has one. There's no indication that he has one.

On the post game show, Adam Jones just said hernandez said he was 'fine'.

Take that as you will, but it doesn't sound bad.

Edit: Reiss reports it as well.

Hernandez on comcast now, seems fine

awwww...damn...and here I was ...ready to go off on a week long "bad!!!!!! bad!!!!! bad!!!!" thread posting frenzy ....man, this really makes me mad because, you know, I'm only happy when I make everyone else miserable and negative about the Patriots.

Hope he's ok. We can't loose our best RB!

But seriously, for all the talk of blocking TEs and pass-catching TEs, do we now have the first ball-running TE? What if BB drafts nothing but TEs over the next few drafts and just inserts them into the usual offensive positions? Reiss would be like "The Pats were in their 10-TE/1-QB formation for 45 snaps today, each resulting in a touchdown."

If Aaron or Gronk are going to get hit hard, the head is definitely the best place. And for all of you who will jump all over me about the effects of concussions, I don't mean long-range, rather short-range.

If the Pats had drafted Jimmy Graham instead of Taylor Price, they'd be well on the way to making your fantasy a reality.

Why would you consider it "negative" for fans to be somewhat concerned about one of the main key offensive players who was getting a concussion test at the end of the game?

Lol...

Minor concern is now considered a 'chicken little' type quality for you?

The guy was getting a concussion test and took a major blow at the end of the game. You wouldn't expect some people to want to know his immediate status?

Gronk & Hernandez are unstoppable. OMG! Gronk & Graham on the same team just wouldn't be fair. The Pats really hit the jackpot with those TE's!

He was interviewed in the locker room and seemed fine ! his own words, "I feel great" !! :rocker:

Indeed! I never saw either guy play in College. Gronk stole my heart on Draft Day with his onstage celebration with his family. I had no idea that the kid could be this good. I absolutely love this kid. When the Pats selected Hernandez, I said meh, but my mom (can you believe it) was so pumped about it. She told me that this kid is a playa. You watch. She watches a lot of College football. I am missing out. These two TE's are ballers. They are a good combo. What makes them so dangerous is their playing style. They are a lethal match up for any defense. I had no idea that Hernandez was so versatile. I love both of these kids, but Gronk is my binkie.

You can still do it. Facts and logic are not necessary for those types of rants. :D
