We need a outside WR to step up in the Playoffs...i think Mr Branch sould be very healthy for the run. I don't want to hear anymore Ocho Stinko.

Is it me or is "85" open more than we see and Brady just chooses other targets whom he trusts more?

if you aren't seeing it, it probably isn't happening. Ochocrappo is toast. Done. I'd bet Starbucks latte and lemon loaf on it. :)

We all know that Spikes and Chung missed the first Denver game, but many of us forget that Branch did too. His healthy return should add another dimension for the Broncos to deal with.

There are a lot of factors at play here.

In this offense, when Brady looks at the defense he'll either stick with the play or get out of it. It is then up to the receivers to take the play called, relate their new pattern to the coverage in front of them. Brady is then assuming that the WR will get to a certain spot in a zone coverage or run a certain "branch" and be at a certain part of the field in x amount of time. Some players, based on their knowledge of the system, the defense, etc. will be on the same wave length as Brady.

So whatever reason and I don't want to speculate why, 85 just is not on the same page as Brady and because of that, Brady needs to look elsewhere and in my opinion will only go to 85 if the match up too good to pass up or everyone else's route is either risky or not going to result in a positive play. In the end, there may be a call that BOB sends in that has 85 as the primary receiver but once the defensive coverage is revealed, Brady either goes right to his 2nd option or gets out of the play altogether.

He is getting open, though. Brady just isn't throwing to him. Chad can't really do anything about that.

The trust still isnt there yet which is surprising.

Gronk, Hernandez and Welker took no time at all.

Exactly. He has been open a lot recently.

Did you guys see the sound fx video on nfl.com where Ocho is talking with Brady after a series and he's like: Dude what else can i do and Brady told him hey man you're doing great just keep going.

I'm changing my tune a little from the previous post. I still think TB and the coaching staff doesnt have 100% confidence in him but it might be for a different reason- make plays.

Keep in mind that over the last 9 games, this offense is averaging 36ppg. It's not like Brady is making bad decisions here.

Part of me thinks now thinks that Chad now knows the plays and what he needs to do. You don't have the kind of career hes had and not be able to pick up an offense and read coverages. He is not Donald Hayes.

It might be a case that Gronk, AH and WW are viewed as more productive, impactful players and are Brady & the offensive system's preferred targets. With imput from TB, it's BOB and BB who are the ones that determine who plays and how much. This is determined by gameplan, production, matchups, etc.

Branch is an afterthought with 51 catches. What does that tell you?

My point is that there are only so many balls to go around and the offense would rather see the players that I mentioned get it over Chad. The coaches and TB may not trust his ability to make plays as much as the other guys (which Gronk, WW and AH having Pro-Bowl years that really isn't something to be ashamed of.)

It's time to ROLL OUT THE SECRET WEAPON! This is finally the week Ocho...awwww, never mind....

Chad truly has become the team's long snapper ... :p:p:p

Yes, he can. He could be more consistent at running the correct routes (being in the right spot at the right time) and work at being on the same page as Tom Brady.
