These Tony Sparano rumors were before Hue Jackson was fired.
Rex wanted Hue Jackson in 2009 when he took the Jets HC job, but Oakland denied it.
Jackson is most likely the #1 target for their new OC.
I wonder how much he got for a buy out...
Jackson didn't get to Oakland until 2010. He was still with the Ravens for Ryan's first year as the Jets HC.These Tony Sparano rumors were before Hue Jackson was fired.

Did you watch any Dolphin games the past few years? Sparano is more conservative than Herm, Paul Hackett and Rich Kotite in their primes. This move is an absolute disaster. I am sick to my stomach.
This. He damn sure didn't leave without a big chunk of his new 3 year deal in his back pocket. THey had to gas him as the fall guy for senior management.
This is just so good because it buys at least another 1-2 years "to see what Cantchez can do with a real coordinator". The problem for the Jets is the problem aint the OC.
So great!
Well the Cowboys had a good offense when Sparano was calling plays. He never called plays in Miami. whatever

They still have Li'l Marky, Wrecks, LaClassian, Cromartie, Holmes, Woody Johnson, Tannen-bum, etc., etc. No worries, a 44th consecutive year of futility is assured. :rocker:
