One things for sure, Honey Badger can play through a stinger.

Lol. Love the attitude, love the physicality and motor, but I don't think a lot of those things are legal in the NFL. Sure you can say the game has gotten soft, but its the way things are these days and it could hurt Mathieu. If you think Suh was bad imagine, the Honey Badger ripping guys heads off, literally. But honey badger don't care. :p

Absolutely gotta LOVE this kid. :rocker:

Two VITAL traits in a successfull Corner Back:

1 ~ Short Memory!!

2 ~ FEARLESSness!!

Honey Badger gets bitten by a Cobra and passes out from the venom??

Honey Badger don't give a schytte.

Honey Badger wakes up and goes right back to eating the Cobra!!

Honey Badger gets stung by 1000 bees??

NO.

REALLY.

1000 #$%&ing BEES.

Honey Badger don't care.

Honey Badger keeps RIGHT on chowing on that Larvae!!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM....LARVAE.....HGHGHGHGHGHGHGH....

Let's not forget the drug test or two or three that he failed.

May be a sign of immaturity, but supposedly he surrounds himslef with a posse similar in type to one Pacman Jones used to hang with.

Things to take into consideration.

I'm not sure he's a top first rounder whenever he comes out, he's just too small. There was a play last night where Mathieu had perfect coverage but the ball was thrown high to the receiver and Mathieu just couldn't affect the catch because of his diminutive stature.

Can you imagine him trying to cover The Gronk?

Yes, he makes plays, but I don't think he's actually that great as a pure cover corner. He can be a valuable nickle at the next level, but I'd rather have Arrington over the rather ridiculously named Honey Badger (and this coming from a short, fierce guy who applauds short athletes everywhere).

I've heard too many rumors about his personality/attitude that make me think he's just not a fit here. No thanks.

This, plus we would probably have to move up to acquire him. No thanks!

He's not eligible for the draft for a year or two anyways, so who really cares.

Plus, he's an undisciplined punk. If he turns that around in the year or two he has left at LSU he may be relevant. If not, I see a Pacman Jones like career for him.
