Rooneys should interview Josh McDaniels..

Why not talk to the guy who IMO is doing a fine job with Brady ( I know Brady is great and McDaniels is not the main reason for his success) in NE. The Patriots and the Belichik school of coaching seem to be doing some decent work turning out good coaches

Learning from the best makes you better. If Brady and Belichik have made him a better coach then so be it. All the better.

McDaniel is very young..like 32,33 or so. He's from Eastern Ohio so if not a Browns fan he may have grown up rooting for the Steelers. He's smart and seemed to get better as the season went along.

Do we really need to lose more personnel? :D

As someone who has been hard on Weis' successor simply b/c he wasn't Weis, I gotta say - damn McD has impressed this season, particularly the second half. For the first half of the season I still tried to remain skeptic of the guy, but I just gotta give him his props. It's almost "Charlie who?" at this point. I still wish they'd run CJ for some different routes, but hey, I'm not going to argue right now.

Whenever we need to score, we do. That's the mark of champions.

Aint it amazing how , just the addition of Vinny Testerverde has made such a difference in Josh. Man, what great input he must be providing. :D

Hey, I don't know about Vinny & playcalling, but I think there is something to Vinny being a positive force for Brady.

I got the Charlie Pierce book for XMas, there was something in there specific that just made me think "hmm, that's why they brought Vinny on board". I'll look back into it, but I think it was a line about Brady liking to learn from people older than him, someone he could really trust and someone to calm him down. Can't remember right now, will check sometime...

I think Vinny makes him feel like a little kid again

Do you think it's possible that some team will try to lure away JMc from us? His still wet behind the ears!

I think teams will hire ANYONE that works for the Pats!

Well Michael Smith just said on ESPN that the Raiders may be interviewing him.

As I said in another post, the success of Mangini may lead a team to try to strike "BB Gold" by trying another branch off the BB tree, no matter how green the fruit may be.

It's gets extremely difficult when other teams continually pursue everyone with a BB connection on our team.

I'm assuming, since you didn't say it, we're not talking about a head coaching position.

Doesn't "Coach, Oakland Raiders" count as a stain on one's resume?

I wouldn't be surprised if, in a decade or so, they have the "Belichick Trophy" for Coach of the Year. . . .
