Dear Pat Fans:

I couldn't stand another idiotic comment about San Diego or the Chargers from some of the Bolt fans who came here this week to talk their sh!t. Honestly, some of us SD fans are not wankers.

Last August I fulfilled a long-held dream and visited Boston for the first time. It was everything I hoped for and more. It's a real city, with a foundation of history and character that San Diego can only dream of. Walking the streets, riding the subways, talking with the locals in the bars, I got a glimpse of the spirit and the soul of a true American original. Making the trip to Fenway for two consecutive, sweltering nights was an amazing experience I will never forget. I can't wait to go back.

I can't think of two franchises I respect more than the Sox and the Patriots. The old school Charger fans here in SD can only hope that we are on the verge of something special, and I think we owe a lot to the Patriot model of the last decade. You guys are setting an example for the rest of the league on how to do it right. Cheers to that.

We have all the pieces in place for a multi-championship run over the next 5 years, and we hope to take the first step toward that on Sunday. But it would be very foolish not to regard this game as very difficult challenge. I think many of us on both sides are very excited and let's all wish for an epic battle. May the best team win!

Cool. Thanks for being an intelligent poster. Like I said they are evenly matched and it will come down to execution and gampelan adjustment.

I don't live in Boston and I've never been, but hearing that come from a Chargers fan, classy post man.

The game will be hard fought. I don't know who will win. I think that some of your fellow fans would realize that we are willing to talk rationally about pros and cons of both teams if they would only calm down and act like intelligent people, instead of being jerks. But such is life on the internet.

Anyway, I still hope that we have another superbowl run or two left in us before we turn over the keys to the dynasty! :D

Thanks man. At least there are a few good ones who know that this has to be enjoyed. Not many fans get to watch their team in the playoffs, period. We're lucky to get such good matchups in the AFC. Four good teams that could easily be hoisting the Lombardi in Feb. Good luck.

I think it comes down to the ability of the Patriots D to stop the run.

It will be a great game, and there is no other team I'd rather have the Pats face than the best the AFC has to offer.

Here is to a great week of positive talk, looking forward to the mathcup of the week!

I wish it could be a week of positive talk, but the playoffs always bring the worst (trolls).

OT: I wonder how the Florida and OSU folks are handling it. 1:15 til the game!

I'm onboard, Lander. GO BOLTS. But much... much respect to the Patriots. Only other game I've been this excited about was the 1994 Championship against the Steelers (when they reportedly were making a SB video the week before we went into Three Rivers and beat 'em).

Tom Brady may be great, but he's no Stan Humphries :D :D (totally F'in kidding... hence the :D :D ... get it?)

I've never had a desire to go to boston. In fact I feel like the red sox are asses. I say this because I am also a Padres fan and i assume most of you know what I am talking about. If you don't then comments by johnny Damon saying does anyone know who plays for San Diego anyways, along with comments by doug mirabelli and Tim Wakefield against are city that made the red sox issue a full page apology in the San Diego Union Tribune have left a bad taste in my mouth. Along with Tom Brady not shaking drew brees hand last year and spouting off comments like a crybaby and sore loser at the end of our game last year. Combine this with the fact Boston has a bad history with Rascism. Barry Bonds said he would never play there because of it. And the Red Sox were the last team to get a black player. Now I'm sure Boston is Rich in tradition but I personally have alot of reasons NOT to go there or give the city praise. FYI this isn't the end of my list if you want more I could give it to you.

Dude. Seriously. enough. This thread ain't for your senseless drivel.
GO BOLTS

Take this to one of the other 50 threads you are trolling in

Lander makes SDChargeHer sound like an ass.

i think i'm gonna just copy and paste this into all these threads where sd fans are showin' up...

"the Pats ARE a great team, and the Chargers MIGHT be the NEXT great team"

i wish more of our fans would behave like LT does when he scores... just act like we've been here before ;)

here's to the refs keepin' their flags in the pockets, and the players stayin' on the field.

should be a great game... is it here yet???

Stop while you are far, far behind

They made a SB Shuffle in 2001 too. They definitely didn't do that in '05 though.

SB video = curse

Major props to LT for the way he handles TD's. He doen't act like every first down he gets or every TD he makes is the first and last one he will ever make. A true class act. I wish he were on our team. :rocker:

Whats up Hater?

First Black NBA head coach? Boston Celtics
First Black NBA startinig 5? Boston Celtics

"I've never had a desire to go to boston." -you

How could you have the slightest clue what the people in Beantown are like? Using Barry Bond's logic to explain what you call a 'racist' town is disgusting. The man has no clue what reality is. I'd say take a trip down south, to rebel flag country to see racism.
Stop the hating and check out Boston one of these days. You'll find that its a passionate sports town with a lot of history.

Actually, I think we want you just to f#ck off and go back to your own website with the rest of your posse.

Meanwhile, we would not mind discussing football in an intelligent manner with more intelligent members of your fan base. There have been a few of them to show up here. But trolls like you are giving Bolts fans a bad rap.

sorry though... he's gonna retire (and not just graduate  ) a charger :singing:

First, talking Red Sox trash will only endear you to quite a few Patriot fans. Barry Bonds, your joking right? You use the biggest hypocrite in sports to try to make a point. Also, you never mention the Celtics, first to hire a black coach, first to draft a black player, etc. I must say tho, its fairly hard to compare the history of Boston vs San Diego. Kind of like comparing the Red Sox with the Florida Marlins.

Boston just called me to tell me it's upset you feel that way.
