Has ANYONE seen Deus Irae own up yet?

Where is his "Indianapolis is the MOST SUCCESSFUL NFL franchise of the last 12 years" argument????

He has never admitted to ever being wrong on this website. Let's see him spin this beauty!!! :D :D :D

Hopefully Indy will dismantle and be willing to trade away their DEs and WR for middle rounders......

1.) I've admitted to being wrong on many an occasion.

2.) I've already posted in the thread.

3.) Quit being misleading about what I said.

You argued on this forum that the Indianapolis Colts were the most consistently successful NFL team of the past 12 years.

What's misleading about that?

This isn't great for the rest of the AFC.

The Polian clique was over-rated after Manning and Freeney (maybe Mathis too); and just like the imminent departure (IMHO) of Brainy Brian Schottenheimer, it's bad news for the Patriots and all other AFC opponents. Their replacements might just be.... competent

Let's keep the rest of the conference hobbled by mediocrity. It's extra padding, and helps to ensure a Patriot supremacy.

Ok, so do the Colts now trade that #1 pick?

Nope. That number one pick gives the new regime a chance to start anew with a new face of the franchise. If anything, Polian's firing, in my opinion, makes releasing/trading Manning a bigger possibility for the Colts.

I think that it's great that Polian is out.

I would not be surprised if Jerry Jones attempted to get Manning to replace Romo.. Nor would I be surprised if Shanahan tried to get Peyton either. If AL was still around, I'd say that AL would try to get Manning..

I don't see Manning going to the Jets.. I just don't think they can afford him..

Prior to this season, the Colts had double digit wins in 11 of the previous 12 seasons.

Please point out all the teams that were 12 of 12.

Eh, the Patriots have no control over what other teams do or don't do. Just enjoy the chaos while it's happening.

I know you are really good about pulling up links of posts of other people, so please pull one up of yours where you admitted to being wrong..

Thanks. ..

PFT has a different take, which is why I brought up the question. If nothing else, it'll be good water cooler fodder.

WOw, I thought this was a joke at first.

Bad move by the Colts IMO. He's not Kraft but how many GM's would you rather have. I guess it's the end of an era, wonder if Manning is about to follow

Dolphins making changes for an owner who seems star struck

Jets imploding right in front of our eyes

Polians hitting the unemployment line while the Colts are in decline

Buffalo still doesn't have a defense

Pretty darned good way to end 2011/start 2012

This year really showed how valuable Peyton Manning was to this whole franchise. He is the quarterback, coach, and offensive coordinator of the team

Pats 3 SB's.

Steelers 2 SB's

All the rest are all the rest.

I said it then and I'll say it again, the Colts were a house of cards built on a very thin foundation. Manning was/is an amazing QB, but one cannot build a franchise on ONE player.

The Pats didn't make the playoffs in 2008, but they never embarrassed themselves like Polian did when their star QB went down.

Lets just be honest with out Peyton and with out Tom.. both the Pats and the Colts would be swimming with the rest of the league in mediocrity. They have HOF quarter backs and its easy in todays league to win if you have a HOF quarter back. I think the pats have been better though, if you consider when Brady went down they were still a border line play off team. 11-5 as opposed to 2-14.
