per NFLN. Don't have details but tune in to NFLn.
Very Surprising.

Just reported on NFLN by Mike Lombardi!

The colts have had some ****ty drafts the last few years, i think we patriots fans would have wanted both of them still with the colts ;)

Re: Polian(s) FIRED!

The damage has been done. The NFL is now arena football.

New regimes = new quarterbacks.

Manning will probably not be on the Colts next year. I hope he isn't wearing green and white.

Me too. It's a ri-OT.

EDIT: Get it? Like PatriOTS? Polian always said "Patri-OTS"? get it? OK ...never mind.

Wonder if those mid-day guys on 98.5 still think the Colts and Jets are the model franchises the Pats should be modeled after. Kind of been their schtick whenever I had the bad judgment to put them on the last couple of years.

Ding dong the witch is dead. :)

Re: Polian(s) FIRED!

He had a pretty disappointing performance on the rules committee this year. He really tried to eliminate the forward pass a week before the season started, but some others resisted his suggestion.

Not surprising to me at all.

That team has zero talent on defense outside of Freeney, Mathis and Bethea and hasn't been able to draft to save its life.

The offensive line is also a mess.

The loss of Manning exposed the Polian's poor talent evaluation abilities.

IMO Irsay made a wise choice.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop with Caldwell.

I imagine it may take a couple years to get that ship righted. When you see other teams have success when a QB goes down, I guess ownership figured the problem came from personnel.

and I'm good with it, even ifthe team improves over the long haul.

EDIT: Does this mean Indy still maintains it's position on the competition committee?

I heard differently. I had heard that he tried to take defenses off the field when the Colts offense is on it and replace those defenses with Fatheads of themselves.

Polians trending #1 worldwide on twitter

While everyone pisses and moans about our drafts, the Colts suck a whole lot worse.. BB for the competition committee.. don't let the door hit you in the azz..

I haven't been this happy since I heard that Kim Jong Il died!

Ok, so do the Colts now trade that #1 pick?

With the Polians gone, are Kraft and BB the most powerful management combo in the NFL?

If so, nice...
