will be playied in England or Germany

SF-SEA-MIA-BUF-KC-NO

one of these 6 teams should be the home team

could be the Pats be one candidate to be the 'road' team ? i hope so...

New England @ Miami in Europe ?

Not in 2007, I'm afraid; the Pats (and Seahags) are going to China, so I highly doubt the league will send either of them to Europe as well.

Screw that crap, the time zone change is just too difficult. The NFL is pissing me off more and more. I'm sure both teams will have their bye the following week but still . . .

it seems more or less official there will be this game in Europe

16 January should be announced officially...

I think NEM meant the Patriots likely wouldn't be one of the teams as they have the China game too - not that there wouldn't be a game.

Here's my idea - play all the games in the United States.

I agree. why would owners give up that much gate and revenue?

i think it will be a failed experiment. the nfl has gun issues now, imagine them being in a foreign country and the implications with liability.

c'mon my friends

1 (one) game every year outside US is not a disaster...

we are talking about 1 single game

give us the opportunity to see it too once a year

Or you could fly over here like I have to do to see a Patriots game :)

i have done it last year allready

i saw two games

sunday night against BUF
monday night against IND
both at 'The Razor'

a beautiful experience - i loved any second of it...ok...not the final score against the Colts...

Finally! Hopefully pats in London..

ItalianPatthePatriot, I feel for you. As much as I'm not a fan of the NFL's quest to host regular season games overseas, the saving grace would be that great fans like you can go to a game in your backyard (so to speak).

BTW, I never asked, where in Italy are you from?

i would love it (a 'road' game for the Pats) but i doubt it as NE will go with SEA to play in China in 2007

16 january we will know...

Will be visiting Italy for the first time soon, my wife and I will be in Venice after the football season.

Venice (Venezia) is of course a 'right' decision but you should try to go minimum to Florenze (Firenze) and Rome too...

this is the hottest winter we ever had here for yr info...

Thanks for the info.

Coincidentally enough we almost chose Milan, but decided on Venice. I'll fill you in on our trip when we return.

do not forget that one day i will be with you to see Pats @ Buffalo !

R

back to the thread i was thinking if Buffalo @ Miami could be the game...

One game or even TWO out of the country in a year is NOT bad at all...I don't think it is a big deal. NO Patriot game in Europe this year..FIRST game in China..MUCH MORE important!!!
I doubt it will be a division game...maybe even interconference...

We had a great time in Fierenze and Venezia as well. Like NEM said, wander around in Venezia; it's an island so don't worry about geting lost. The museums in Fierenze were awesome. You can have your hotel buy tix in advance and you walk right in avoiding hours of lines.

Get Rick Steve's "Italy 2007" tourbook and phrase book, then you'll learn stuff like how to order in Italiano, "Mangio solo insetti." You waiter will love it!
