So, I assume we're all on the same page of Pittsburgh going into Denver and winning handily. Tebow Time is most likely finished for this year (and maybe forever).

Houston/Cinncinatti...do we get Andy Dalton in Foxboro? I haven't watched much of the Bengals this year, can we beat them?

AFC
Bengals at Texans
Steelers at Broncos

NFC
Lions at Saints
Falcons at Giants/Cowboys

The Steelers offense has been horrid the last couple weeks with hobbled Big Ben. If the Broncos don't turn the ball over, and Big Ben screws up once, the game will be close.

I just don't see the game being a blowout.

Steelers have scored less than 15 points 6 times in 16 games, including the last 3 and 4 of the last 5 Rapeburger has played. Those defenses were:
Cleveland
SF
Cleveland
KC

They have averaged 15.9 per game all season on the road.
Mendenhall is injured.
Denver may not have to score many points. Pitt SHOULD win, but its not a lock at all with Denvers D.

I don't think the PIT defense will have much of a challenge with the DEN offense..at all.

Roethlisberger's injury was the lowesr grade ankle sprain possible (Grade 1), and it happened on Dec.8th, which will be exactly one month from this game. Usually with the proper treatment, you can go over an ankle sprain in a couple-few weeks. He may not be at a full 100%, but he is certainly getting closer every week. Ben is not nearly as hobbled as some people think.

I'm not sure what their problems on offense are, but I imagine that their defense will carry them just fine.

I would settle for Pittsburgh winning in Denver but Charlie Batch having to start the next game after that.

We get Dalton in Foxborough if our prayers are answered, that's for sure.

Not only would it set up a great first home game matchup, it would also send PIT to play BAL.

If this team can't beat the Bengals, they don't deserve to win anyway.

There problems on offense are that they don't have a very good one. And it just got worse with Mendenhall hurt.
Denver can play defense. They can keep the game low scoring, and it would turn on a mistake.
This is a worse matchup for Pitt than a better offense and worse D would have been.

The best thing about Den/Pitt is that Pitt has to make a long west coast trip next week, play in the cold, against a solid D, keep Ben from getting that ankle rested, keep getting those old farts banged up. They already lost Mendenhall and possibly Clark. Pitt will win but hopefully Denver can exhaust them whether they go to NE or Balt.

Worst case scenario we get Pit in the divisional round. I think we can beat them but let's hope Cincy somehow manages to beat Houston so Baltimore and Squeelers beat the hell out of each other.

i see the bengals being able to beat the texans, and securing a trip to us, and i would expect to beat them

i would also expect pit to beat den, not sure about score

a 1st round bye and then playing the bengals would be incredibly easy, or the easiest path as things stand right now

plus i WANT baltimore and pit to face each other a 3rd time and beat each other up

than well pick off who ever survives that game

Not scared of any of these teams, sorry. Saints in the Peyton (Payton?) Dome is the only scenario that makes me shake in my boots a bit.

I believe that if you think you are good enough to be Champ then you shouldn't worry about the opposition. But it sure would be nice if we get the Bengals or Broncos in the Divisional round :D

uhh... pretty sure if we get that far, the dome is the only place we will be playing them..

maybe the football gods are with us this year. I feel like we will get the bengals, than a hobbled steelers/raven team.
