a fan was complaining how terrible the crowd in foxboro was, they behaved obnoxiously with jets fans..let air out of tire cars...shaked and pounded cars...started physical altercations and pats security people saying that dont expect any help from us.
guy was holding pats management responsible and was going to file a case..
FWIW ..just reporting what i heard

Jet fans were horrible yesterday. Any crap they got from Pats fans was due to their own behavior. We had some Jet fans in our section in they all acted like a-holes. Jet fans are the scum of humanity.

we were sitting up in 328 (lower ring) and there were a few jets fans in our section but they were good for the most part, pats fans were giving them more crap then they were dishing. Now from what we saw, sections 323/324 were a totally different story. we saw a few people get "escorted" out, but it looked like all of 323 and most of 324 were jets fans. Didn't see any issues at all in the parking lots where we were.

I'm sure there was plenty of jerkiness to go around, on both sides. NY fans and Boston fans alike can be real A-holes.

no issues in my area, Jet fans sat there looking miserable from kick-off to final whistle, the few I talked with were OK but expecting a loss

was this guy even at the game?

I saw nothing of it as I was parked in East club/suite parking area, I was actually amazed at all the Jets fans in that area

FWIW, Jets bboards are full of horror stories from yesterday. Pelted hard with all sorts of objects (loose change, etc.), Jets scarves twisted around their necks, you name it. Yeah, you expect to take a lot of verbal flak for showing up in enemy territory, but there are a lot of reports of physical attacks. Really hope it wasn't as bad as they claim.

Jets fans complaining, because going to the Meadowlands is a joy for opposing fans. Jets fans were in line before the parking lots opened in their cars screaming "Pats suck". If your that stupid you get what you deserve.

similar stories if the game was played in NY not Foxboro, My point is I bet half the posters were not at the game, of the 50% left - 25% were rude and confrontational, 12.5% were loaded, 12.5% were just around loaded fans and the final 50% enjoyed themselves but are afraid to tell the story.

I will say again I saw none of it happening in the stadium, amazed me thats why I took note of it

As someone who goes to away games every year, that pisses me off. Green Bay fans were the nicest around, they all wanted to congratulate us and tell us what good fans we were for coming all the way out to Wisconsin to cheer on our team. Pittsburg fans on the other hand were throwing chicken wings. I'd like to think we have class like GB, but it seems we're more like Pitt.

I can see why someone wearing a "patrihat" would get beat up. :D

basically sh#t happens at games. Go watch golf Jets fans. Oh, that's right you have to now don't you.

Actually I don't have one. The guys behind me are the seller.

Well,k I really wouldnt go there, with that one. :D

We are well know for our chant...YANKEES SUCK......
And if a Red Sox fan goes into Yankee stadium chanting that and gets crap thrown at them then they deserve it too.

Sounds like some around New York are trying to take a page from al Qaeda's book and whip up hatred toward Pats fans. This hate-mongering is evil and should be quickly and thoroughly examined by law enforcement authorities. Unless there is documented proof that actual abuses occurred these media outlets need to print retractions and set the record straight. This kind of thing is nothing but divisive hate-mongering and has NO PLACE in America (or anywhere else, for that matter.) It is a *most serious* breach of the public peace to fan the flames of hatred, and the responsible parties need to be held accountable for this vicious action.

To be honest the most annoying fans at the games are not the other team's fans it's the numb ---- fans who think they are a better coach then the ones the team already has. Seems like every game I've gone to I always have a know it all sitting behind me. This past time (it happened to be the Jets game we lost) about ten peolpe told him to shut the heck up, I don't think he said a word the rest of the game.

According to Zip the many jets fans at the Razor's Edge Tailgate were well received and reasonably well behaved, if you can tolerate listening to that hideous JETS! chant.

Is this a surprise?

Replace Patriots with "HOME TEAM" and Jets with "AWAY TEAM" and you can use this template at any NFL game. That is what happens when you get 60,000 - 80,000 people together with half of them drinking since 9:00 AM, combine that with testosterone and sh*t happens.

I saw some drunk kid throw a plate of fries and ketchup in a Yankees fan's face at a Red Sox game. The end result the Yankee fan gets kicked out of the stadium. At least we haven't got as bad as the soccer games in Europe.

Sports is not the ballet, bad stuff happens some times. It is stupid and senseless but hardly a revelation.

I hate hearing stories like this. I always treated opposing fans in Foxboro the way I'd like to be treated when I to road games -- Expecting tons of verbal abuse, with pretty much everything being fair game, but NEVER crossing the line into physical attacks.

Last two road games I've attended (Carolina and Atlanta), the fans were fine.

There were a few Jest fans around us in 137 and they were fine, a little smack back and forth with those of us around them. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Even in the lots beforehand there was a lot of smack, mostly one-sided, but nothing remotely close to physical. Not to say that there couldn't have been some isolated incidents. Sounds like the typical "It's your fault, I'm gonna sue" scenario.

As if they're so kind and understanding of opposing teams' fans in Jersey.
