First off it's the truth. He's a great corner but nonetheless the refs let him get away with stuff that gets called on others.

Second how much do Bill, Tom, Wes and crew love Marshall for saying what they won't? You know they think it and complain to the league but now Marshall's made it a focal point and it will come up again and again.

Not to make fun of Marshall's personality disorder but he's crazy like a fox on this one.

The Revis pick six on him was BS.

Please do explain what Marshall said.

Don't assume we all heard it.

The thread title pretty much sums it up but the exact quote was:

"You know what, my technique could have been better, but at the same time I think they gave him the ’Jordan Rule,’ " Marshall said.

"Michael Jordan, you get a little close to Michael Jordan they are going to call a foul, it works that way in football. Some guys you know they are scared to throw the flag on and he may be getting that rule."

I read a response from Revis yesterday saying he gets penalties called on him. Then the columnist pointed out Revis has had 0 pass interference penalties called on him this season. :bricks:

I agree completely. I see him time and time again get away with what other DBs get for holding or PI a lot.

Revis gets away with holding on like 50% of the plays.. it's crazy.

I don't think many people other than Jets fans will argue this.

The best was they had Marshall on a split screen with Ed Reed and Reed was laughing along, although he did say at the end, "Well, Revis is a great corner, you have to admit.." but I don't think he ever refuted what Marshall was saying.

I always find it amusing that whenever I watch a game where they highlight 3or 4 Revis plays they almost always show him holding the receiver. There is no doubt that he is very good and has incredible timing when the ball is thrown (he breaks up a ton of passes) but one of the reasons it is so hard to get open on him is how much he grabs.

It was pretty good.

Marshall really surprised me.
By what he says to the media I thought he was a thug. But actually no, he is really well composed and seems polite and educated. And he was right on point with what he said. Even the great Ed Reed agreed and he's a DB.

wtf is a google?

Here you go.

Regarding Revis, it makes it worst when announcers laud him for playing "physical" when he should be penalized. The more players complain about him, the more he's going to be scrutinized. I like what Marshall is starting...

Marshall's becoming one of my favorite non-Pats
