Amazing

Brady is getting hosed, but I can't believe the results.

I'm amazed that Rodgers is winning Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota. If that poll were Mark Sanchez vs my grandmother my grandmother would win New England.

It'd be the exact same if a QB like Manning were in there against Brees and Rodgers.

While I agree that Brady is having a great yr, he is a clear-cut 3rd best.

At least they included him against the other 2, to me that's showing a lot.

You've have to be lying if you claimed that Brady had an MVP shot this yr against those other 2.

It's 46% rodgers and 46% brees. In a 3-way race Brady has fewer TDs than Rodgers and fewer passing yards than Brees. So I'm not surprised. I'll take a superbowl win over winning a poll any day. :)

What I'm saying is before I saw the results, I would have guessed like 15% Brady, 18% Brees, then Rodgers.

Or something like that

The only guy who doesn't have an argument is Brees. He has the best receivers, best running game and best defense out of those three QBs, apart from throwing the football a lot more and having played 11 games in a dome.

If and when Breese and Rogers show their as good as Tom Brady, fans will get sick of them too! But Aaron and Drew have a long way to go before they prove themselves to be the same calibre as Brady & Peyton Manning.

lets hope its gonna be one of those years where the MVP guy doesn't win the Superbowl and our guy does

I see.

To be honest, I would have expected it pretty close between Brees and Rodgers, especially after last night etc.

It sucks that Brady gets no love here, but he's about where I would personally expect. I'd have thought about 48 Rodgers, 42 Brees, and 10 Brady--or something close to that.

AR deserves it, in my opinion. If Brady had his numbers and the Pats were 14-1, I'd expect him to have the 46%. You also have to take into account in the national "Patriots Hatred Factor", which is always an element. I think it has lessened to some degree from what it was in 2007, but it's still out there when you get outside of NE, actually, MA, RI, ME and NH. VT and CT might as well be parts of NY.

I wouldnt say clear cut at all. If you have the ability to not be a prisoner of the moment, and look at where you are playing (dome vs out doors) who you are playing with, and who you play against you'd see Brady is just about number 1.

Take in the fact that regardless of what we are told, the MVP is a team award. If Brady had even and average D, the pats would be 15-0 in all likelyhood and Rodgers and Brees would be afterthoughts, even if Brady had the exact same stats as he has at 12-3

just sayin.

vermont and connecticut should secede from new england.

not like connecticut is a real new england state anyway.

This isn't really a surprise. Brady's relatively poor run after in midseason doomed him. Records don't matter. Stats don't matter. What matters is the mindset that takes hold. Brady's having an "off year", whether he is having an off year or not.

Who's talking about Brady having an 'off' year? I haven't heard anybody say that. It's not his best season, it might not even be in the top 3, but he's playing better than Manning did in 3 of his MVP years, for example.

When he was tossing his INTs (Buf through NYG), it was being noted. I'm not even saying it was being fairly noted, because expecting Brady to repeat his INT performance from last year was unreasonable (Heck, if he goes without throwing a pick next week, this will be the second fewest in a full season for him). My point is that the notion got burned into the collective psyche. When you combine that with him winning the award last year and people wanting someone new to win, it's not surprising to me that Brady's way back in the pack.

the clear cut Most Valueable Player (MVP) is Peyton Manning. Without him in the line-up the colts have only won 2 games. He is missed for sure and the moxt valueable

Hey! There are plenty of Pats fans here in CT. Just a weird mix. The closer to NYC you get, the more Giants/Jets fans.

Brady must be steaming mad about this MVP race:rolleyes:
