This team has a plethora of good running backs all characterized with different attributes and strengths with BJGE, Danny Woodhead, S. Ridley, Shane Vareen and Kevin Faulk.

Honestly, I think Kevin is pretty much done for. I don't know if its just me, but it seems something bad happens almost everytime he gets the carry. As much as I love this guy for what he has meant to the organization, its time for him to calmly be done with his career as a football player.

Weighing in on all of the other RBs, I honestly have been impressed with this Ridley kid the most. He is just straight out explosive. He has really good yardage and seems to be able to squeeze out of tackles as well for extra yards after contact. Law Firm has been really inconsistent this season. Still a tough, downhill runner that never fumbles, I like him as well.

Woodhead has picked up some key third downs as of late and his presense is always good. Very shifty runner and makes people miss oftenly. I just don't like when they have him lined up as a receiver, seems Brady always either overthrows him or he drops the ball.

Vareen hasnt been on the field enough to give a thorough analysis but from the little time we saw him in the game, the kid can definately run the ball.

Thoughts?

I couldn't disagree more about Faulk. Nothing bad has happened when he gets the ball yes his legs are clearly aged and he he clearly doesn't have the bounce to do much with the ball in his hand but I couldn't help but notice him in the backfield to start the second half Sunday you might remember the oline and blitz pick up was a joke in the first half but much better in the second.
Not to mention he is valueble leader to the young backs and the whole team

This is Faulk's, "Victory Lap" and he is not much more than a "bridge player".

Agreed but I think he is contributing much more than Troy's victory lap.
