We are planning a tailgate at Qualcomm so we hope to have lots of Pats fans get together informally for a few hours before the game.

Please post here if you are planning to come to the game even if you don't have tickets yet. In fact go ahead and post any good deals that you find for tickets that others might be able to jump on or if you have extras.

As for the tailgate, we'll plan to meet at Hazard Center (a short distance down Friars Road) at a particular time on Sunday morning and then caravan over together. Its difficult to select a particular meeting spot in the parking lot in advance since we don't know how early it will fill up or where the parking attendants will direct us but hopefully with cell phones, even the late-comers will be able to join the Patriot Nation Tailgate.

If anyone knows what time the parking lots will open please post that here or PM me as that will be a factor in determining our meeting time.

I'm looking into it. I have a flight coming to me with credit card miles (hopefully there's enough time to book it). If anyone has an extra ticket or knows a good place for me to find one, please let me know.

I am stationed here and not interested in going to the game this weekend, but I may come across some tickets tomorrow. If I do I will sell them to Patriots fans at face value. I love seeing opposing teams fans at the Q :D.

I'll post tomorrow whether or not I have them.

this deserves a bump. :)

Do me a favor. If Merry-man makes a tackle, chant "Nee-dle, Nee-dle"

SoCal - please let me know if you can get good deals on cheap tix. I'm poor, but hope to come. Looking for two...ANYWHERE. Please let me know here or in a private message.

I remember seeing this at FinHeaven..

"send him a thimble and two shriveled grapefruits" and good luck to Sterriman.

You know I was going to PM you last week to see if you guys were doing anything (since I assumed you were) for the game, plus the fact I missed you when you came to Boston for Miami. COUNT ME IN FOR 2 !! I am flying out from Logan friday afternoon to Long Beach on Jet Blue. We are staying at my sisters house in Huntington beach. Give me a heads up how long it will take to get to the meeting spot from Huntington (plus directions) so I get my brothers lazy arse out of bed on time. Also what to bring ect...(I'll bring the lucky towel they gave us yesterday) I got my tickets funny enough from a Bronco fan who I know who has seasons for the Chargers. (Plaza 54 looks like lower endzone) I was going to take care of him if Broncos came here for playoffs. (thank god that didn't have to happen) Thanks again . lookin forward to , should be a sick time !!

The chargers are putting up tickets for sale on their web site today at 1 p.m. California time.

They will limit it to So Cal residents. The way ticketmaster checks for this is to make sure your credit card used to purchase the tickets is registered to a So Cal address.

Now there are some, of course, who have the option to change their credit card address on line (and to change it back). Caveat emptor -- this is a tricky thing to do, but if you're considering it you can do some googling and check up on the internet how it's done. Bruce Springsteen, for example, sells New Jersey only events from time to time the same way, and there are ways around it.

If you have someone you know in the L.A. or S.D. area who will buy the tickets for you, even better.

I want to go but rather sit with NE fans.

Good luck. I was thinking of driving down to the game if I nailed some tix, but two things occurred:

1. Ticketmaster's limited release of tickets today would only be valid for SoCal billing addresses

2. My brother-in-law from Taiwan is visiting next weekend

Regards,
Chris

Well, it depends on what they include as Southern California. A lot of times, it includes LA County out to Palm Springs and then south.

Also, They still had over 10000 tickets at the end of the Pats game up for sale.

I wish I had the money to fly in and get tickets. I miss the OCPF and all my New England Buddies in PB.

I should be there. Working on tickets through my source now. If not I stay in AZ and watch on the big screen.

I'll take a shot at getting tickets at face value-let me know if you want me to set them aside for you.

I'm seeing mixed reports. This article at the Chargers site says that tickets go on sale at 12 PM PST today.

Anyone have any luck? I didn't but I already had my pair so I was just trying to get some for other Pats fans who want to go. There must not have been many to begin with.

Dude, you missed it. They went on sale at noon. And they are all gone.

I pulled up a couple of singles, but the only options were mail delivery, not ticketfast. I couldn't do mail delivery because I don't have a SoCal address (although my CC did, for today at least).

The ticket I pulled up were really good and really expensive -- club seats at at the 30, $250 each.

Just a few single tickets went on sale. The rest all went to season ticket holders.
