I just heard Deion Sanders say that Rodney would be back for the San Diego game, and I've heard some rumblings in our media that he might be back this week too. Now I know Sanders is not the most reliable source in the world, but he did sound confident about his info. But again, take it for what it's worth.
Has anyone heard anything new about Rodney's injury?

I heard he's out with a knee injury. :)

I'd be sad if I was a Bolts fan -- to have their dreams of a championship ripped away from them by a guy they let go...

Just hints and ifs.
Lets hope!
Go Rodney!

No matter who the player is, someone coming directly off an injury or playing with an injury is not going to be as effective as they possibly could. He wouldn't have as huge of an impact as some seem to expect as far as making plays, but it's undeniable his impact as a leader would be extremely important.

Either way, if Rodney plays it's not good news for us, though it would be cool seeing him playing in the Q one more time.

That would be the 1st time in recorded history that Sanders was worth listening to.
Color me skeptical.
(do not let PatsNUT read this)

Deion did play in Atlanta and probably has some sources there, where Rodney lives. Maybe there's something to it. I have read that Rodney really wants a piece of Schottenheimer for dumping him as a 'has been' after the '02 season. And the rest, as they say, is history.

That remains to be seen... It would be nice to see Rodney play his last game at the Q...

In that case, look for him there the next time S.D. hosts the Super Bowl.;)

I'd also like to see Junior on our sideline in SD.

It's totally true, I have it from an infallible source: he's back for next week.

Make sure the Chargers hear about it, it would only be fair that they know ahead of time so they can devote resources to game planning for him. Their recievers should have advance notic;) so they can begin to think about protecting themselves on routes over the middle - to deny them this would be unsportsmanlike.

maybe rodney has been living in an oxygen tanks the past two weeks ala TO to promote healing

I would be truly amazed if he was back next week.

Yeah. With Junior and Rodney on the sidelines in SD, it would definitely fire up the Pats players. Go Pats:rocker:

Don't forget Reche will definately be on the sidelines as well - Can you imagine 3 of San Diegos assumed 'Rejects' back then firing up the guys on the team?
