Please post your keen observations, insightful comments, knee jerk reactions, rants and raves, both before and during today's Dolphins game.

The Patriots cane clinch a bye with a win today. The weather should not be much of a factor with temps in the 30's and sunny for the game.

Lets hope for a good game with no injuries and a Patriots victory.

Merry Christmas to all!:rocker:

Stuck in Tamper Bay Bucs territory I will miss this always uplifting thread and be a a sports bar surrounded by fans of boring NFL Central Division fans, but at least I'll see the game and the Jets loss to the Jints as well.

Does this feel like it's a sunday to anybody else? I usually work on saturdays so it's a nice treat to be off AND have a full slate of NFL games on. :rocker:

As one wise Jet said "Can't wait!"

Quite a few good games today.

With Matt Light possibly being inactive, look for more of Kevin Faulk early in passing down situations, as he is the more experienced blitz protector . . .

Have the inactives been released? Is Vollmer out?

EDIT : lulz..holy crap if we have Solder and Cannon starting. Who could've expected this?

I dont care about Light.

Get me Chung, Fuller and Spikes back in this effing lineup

Complete Patriots inactives: Light, Vollmer, Chung, Spikes, Brace, Vereen and Mallett.

Alex Silvestro (Rutgers) makes his Patriots debut.

I'm not sure but i think Fuller was released...Moore back in the fold.

O well ive been busy for the past 4 days so it figures we signed a guy and then cut him 28 minutes later

So 3 starters on the line are out. Today is gonna be a serious test for the guys up front.

Either Chung and Spikes are headed to IR, or Belichick is certain we cant win in the playoffs without them and is waiting until they are 110% to put them back in.

Not very worried about the OL, since Solder and Cannon are very capable. It means we won't be able to use Solder as a TE, though, which sucks. I can't believe some of you are still holding out hope that Chung and Spikes will play in the regular season...

Haven't they been practicing though? I'm guessing BB is playing it safe but it does make you wonder if those guys are even in game shape.

Stern tests for both rookie tackles though... and there could be plenty of blitzing as well from the Dolphins D.

Chung pretty much assured the media that he will play before the playoffs this past week. He's probably ready to go but they are hopefully just holding him back.

I truly wonder if Belichick cares about seeding this year, maybe part of a alterior plan?
