The Jets will be coming to town for the divisional game. If ever there was a must win in this franchises history it will be this game. After last years debacle I don't think I could show my face in public if they lost to them a second straight year.

Not entirely locked up that they will be in the playoffs. My guess is they loose to the Giants this week cause the win is a must for the G-men and they are a better team in my opinion. Then they have to beat the Phins in Miami. Not a gimme they way they have been playing. Very possible they loose out or split which puts their hopes in serious jeopardy

You sound like every Jets fan I've heard this week. That they are a lock to face the Pats again and that they will beat them.

Bet you're happy you think like them, right?

Happy Holidays.

I think that the Jets luck streak has run dry. Sanchez's ineptness has finally caught up to them as their D has gone from top rank to just good. Not good enough to cover for piss poor QB performance.

Any given Sunday, etc, etc.

But the Jets are a worse team than last year. So are the Pats but not to as large of a degree.

I'm not counting out the jets until they're mathmatically elimated or knocked out of the playoffs. Beating the pats in their own house after losing 45-3 on mnf has to give you confidence. This is the year the pats have to show up the jets have been more successful past two years, and I hate the jets just as much as the next guy got to give them credit. Winning the division means squat if you lay an egg in the playoffs. I've missed most of the season at bmt so not sure what to expect heading into the playoffs. Last years team should of won the super bowl a dropped touchdown pass and a botched trick play is all it takes. Should be a fun playoffs with a lot of good teams this year, now let's go get that 4th Lombardi :rocker:

I'm not convinced the Jets will win another game this season nevermind the next two and a playoff game or at least one of the next two and a playoff game.

Last year was last year. The Jets had a top defense and a good running game last year. The Pats had the Jets on the ropes in the playoff game early and made some costly mistakes that allowed the Jets to recover.

This Jets team can't beat anyone good. They are 1-4 vs. teams with winning records. They are worse this year vs. the TE than last year and Gronk is the best TE in the league unlike last year.

Calling it now....

Within 18 months Ryan will be fired and the Jets will be in turmoil-again.

At some point this weekend, I'll be eating turkey, and at another point this weekend, I'll be eating roast beef.

Bring it on, all you haters!*

Not implausible by any means. As others have calculated, we can project the following seeding:

1. Pats
2. Ravens
3. Texans
4. Broncos
5. Steelers
6. Jets

If we get the one seed and they get the sixth seed, then we play one another so long as they advance, which is entirely possible since they play the Texans.

That would mean we wouldn't worry about potentially playing both the Steelers and Ravens in the playoffs, which would be an ideal scenario. Let them beat one another up.

I really don't think T.J. Yates is all that much worse than Sanchez and we know the Texans defense is better than the Jets D

Don't count out the Texans beating the Jets if the Jets advance to the postseason.

If you "call" something now, does that have some meaning in life???

I hope that bombastic, braggard, loud mouthed Ryan and his team of green.. doesn't make it, and for the next nine months gets sucker punched on NY talk radio daily.

I am not sure the Broncos are winning that division .... I think the Bills end the season at home with a win tomorrow...I expect Oakland to sneak in or maybe even SD

From what the New York press is reporting, Sanchez' visits to Kate Upton's apartment may be cutting into his time in the film room.

Personally, I'd probably rather face the Jets then a "streaky" Texans team if "current" bracket remains the same. This Jets team isn't that good, and if we can't beat them at home this year in a playoff, we don't deserve to be in it.

Either way, bring whoever on.

She's a "beard"....he goes there to meet Justin Bieber:eek:

If we lose to the Jets at home in the AFCDG I really may never turn on the television again.

But this year, I would be really, really shocked if we didn't beat them.

Didn't you know that she is on the Patriot's payroll as a covert operative? :D
