That Asante deserves to get paid, but thinking about it, so does Daniel Graham. He stepped up in a big way today. Forget the TD catch - his blocking was phenomenal. He was bulldozing defenders all day. This team will have a lot of cap room, and I'd like to see them make serious runs at retaining these two and Koppen...

koppen already signed an extension

Agree. Let's get some consistency. And, yes Koppen signed an extension.

Koppen is the Daniel we already have locked up.

I fully expect the FO to make both Samuel and Graham
realistic, respectful ... Ty Law-like ... offers - scaled to the new cap context.

It'll be up to the lads themselves
to decide whether that is enough.

I like Asante, and Graham. Both played well today. I hope to see them both back next year.

I think the Patriots will offer Asante fair market value - which should be a ton of money at this point.

Asante will certainly be offered more by some other team. It will be his call. Hopefully he wasn't so "insulted" by the first offer that he'll take another offer just to spite the front office - but I don't think he's that sort of guy.

I'd love to have Graham back - I don't think his demands will be as dramatic and high as Asante's. So while I'd make Asante my priority, I think there's a higher chance Graham will be back than Samuel.
