They've allowed 35 points per game since signing him, not including the 28 pts Dallas just put up in the first half on them.

I guess that signing was really worth it. Maybe Raheem should've just pulled a Belichick and moved one of his backup OLinemen to DLine. It hardly could be worse than this.

I remember people making a big deal because he had 4 or 5 tackles vs. the Texans in his first game with the Bucs, but that was more of a product of the Texans running the ball 41 times. It is not uncommon for a DT to get that many tackles when the opponent rushes that much.

From what I've seen tonight, all Haynsworth can do is hold his ground.

-He doesn't pressure the QB or collapse the pocket.

-He doesn't pursue the play.

-He doesn't get off his block to be a factor in the run game.

-He obviously lacks stamina.

This guy is an absolute shadow of himself and, forget character, from a pure talent standpoint Bill was right to cut this guy.

If anyone needs a reminder of why Haynesworth was released, just go to NFL.com and watch Brandon Jacobs' touchdown run against us.

Pathetic.

Ndamukong Suh...this is your future.

I'm kinda shocked that no one here hasn't posted a thread about Sammy Morris.

I know man we need this guy he looks like he's 25!! Thi guy is soo much better than any RB we have!!!

On a serious note, its good to see him on a team. He's one of the most selfless good guys in the league. The anti-Haynesworth.

I can't believe that his QB from the 2004 season is his HC now. Damn.

Haha, what does the fact that he has still been effective say about the state of the Tampa run D?

They have no true 3 tech DTs anymore since McCoy went on IR. Fat Albert is useless and pretty much playing the role of a 1 tech DT even though he's at the 3tech spot.

Tampa had a winning record BEFORE the day Fat Al was signed.....now they have gone 0-5 since then.....the Pats 5-0

Talk about a guy who brings bad luck :bricks:

I think I actually seen him pursue. A thing he most certainly didnt when he was here. Just one thing that makes me wanna call him a duce.

Anyway, he tries too much stuff without keeping his feet under him and like Dielman and all those guards they just breath on him and he is on his ass most of the time.

Gee you guys don't seem that keen on Haynesworth these days....but last summer when I bet that he would not last past mid-season I was reviled. So much so that the no-fun moderator relegated my thread the the freaking practice squad.

Add:

-He doesn't play hard.

-He spends a lot of time on the ground!

Wait, I am confused who are we talking about being teamates turned coach and player?

I was not a fan of the trade when it happened. I'll admit after the first preseason game that I was intrigued. The trade went against one of the main tenets of NE football player personnel. Draft/trade players who feel football is important to them.

Jason Garrett. Was the backup QB in 2004 for the Fins when Morris was the RB there.

Haynesworth had a excellent opportunity to revive his career here in NE. He blew it. Not sure he will survive long in NFL any more
