We had a chance to pick up Dez Bryant a few yrs back but BB took Mcourty. In hindsight - was it the right decision? IMHO - even at that time I felt we should have taken Bryant. This year the decision looks worse - our pass defense has been invisible and even though our offense is not the problem but Dez would have given us a huge upside for many many years.....

Can you imagine how bad the secondary would look minus an underperforming McCourty?

Hindsight is 20/20. But I'm not so sure, offense is not our problem...

Dez Bryant is nothing special at all. He's also the kind of WR who seems like he'd be a poor fit for this offense, the slightly immature, not overly dependable type of WR. McCourty, on the other hand, has put together about half a season of being a truly elite CB. If McCourty can get his head straight sometime before next season, then I'm perfectly happy with McCourty over Bryant.

And I'm not sure why this thread popped up now. He has one catch tonight, and it was a completely blown coverage.

Dez Bryant is no prize. The guy had 706 yards going into this game. He had one catch this game (granted a 50 yard TD pass). He is injured a lot and a head case. I don't know if I would want him as a first round pick whether it was him or McCourty or someone else.

If McCourty can rebound to last year form, it is McCourty hands down anyway.

none of these master pieces (threads) popped up last year when McCourty was tearing it up ... silly pats fans ..

Bryant is a freak and I'm sure he'll thrive in a less complex offense but there's no guarantee he would've produced on the Patriots.

McCourty had a great rookie year and it's not too late for him to rebound this season, I'd give him a few more weeks to regain form. He could be a key piece to our run.

I don't think Mr. Brady will like Dez as I doubt his cerebral prowess.

Don't want any piece of Dez Bryant.

Hakeem Nicks, however - that guy's awesome.

how many time does the same thread has to be posted?

These people will never ever learn. Sigh.
