I know our defense isnt really that good(although we get redzone stops)..and everyone on this site is screaming "1 and done!"

but as I look to the playoffs, what team has a QB that is going to exploit our weak secondary and beat us?

Carson palmer, joe flacco, mark sanchez, TJ yates?? Ben roethislberger may be the best QB we face in the playoffs...and they have generally been a good matchup for us

so, say we get a bye, face the raiders in round 1, then you get the steelers or Ravens in the afc championship game. those are definitely winnable games.

if you get to the SB, anything can happen.

for having a shoddy defense, this is the year to have one and win

What elite qbs did the Pats face in their last 3 playoff losses? That's right, Flacco, Sanchise, and Elite.

Aaron Rodgers? Plus Pitt and Balt both are good on the ground.

Odds are they won't until the Super Bowl if they get there. Roethlisberger if they play the Steelers, but Brady and Roethlisberger are the only Pro Bowl caliber QBs who are going to be in the playoffsbon the AFC side.

This is why I still think the Pats have a decent shot in the playoffs.

Somehow I think that Rothlisberger and Flacco and their offenses are both much better than Grossman and the skins who averaged 17 points a game before today.

Sorry, but I am tired about hearing about past years. Those years have nothing to do with this year. Yes, this Patriots team has some sizable flaws, but so does every team in the playoffs.

Roethlisberger, yes. Flacco, I don't know.

jeez i wish i was there next to you while you typed this thread. so i could throttle you in my pretty pretty pain cave.

flacco didnt beat us, the ravens defense did. we never got anything going...and, wouldnt you say our offense is more dynamic this year than it was in 09?? it was moss/welker THATS IT we at least have some semblence of a running game this year.

and once again, it was the Jets defense last year that beat us.

all Im saying is, this year the theme has been the same time and time again...we give up TONS of yards to these crappy QB's BUT when it matters we make a play/stop as they make mistakes.

If brady can play well against any of those defenses, im confident we can win

You're right, the defense was better in each of those years, other than last year.

Yeah...I just want to point out Flacco was 4/10 for less than 40 yards in that game. We didn't lose to Joe Flacco.

Indy's defense was worse in 2006 than almost any defense they had in the last decade.

Any QB the Pats face in the playoffs will be elite

C'mon! Flacco smoked the Pats in that game. He completed 4 of 10 passes for 34 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT. The defense couldn't cover anyone in that game.

Whatever QB we play will be elite on joe montana like levels, we'll make sure of it.

It'll be fun, hopefully we can pull of some W's

like we stopped ray rice as well. hell i think helu just ran by me just now.

and what did the patriots do? forced a mistake and won the game. thats all that matters.

if Tom brady doesnt throw that interception the game isnt as close as it ended up being.

the wins arent going to be pretty, but to say that we have NO shot when we may have horrid QB's like Palmer/Flacco throwing at our secondary is rediculous..those guys will make costly mistakes.

as long as the OL can keep brady standing we have enough to win games

They have given up ton of yards to every team they have played, and my answer is why your premise is wrong.
