If Mayo gets 25K then Harrison should get 100K for the careless helmet hit on Colt last night

Anyone have a video link? $25K is ridiculous.

At least Godell is betterthan David Stern hahaha

Given Harrison's priors, he should get a hefty fine and a suspension.

Former Patriot Richard Seymour is out $30,000 for throwing a punch.

Seymour has a history of doing stupid stuff. I think it was in 2005 against the Colts when Seymour stomped on an offensive lineman's helmet.

Do not even remember the play..

Stern made the right decision. For the league... That trade was totally BOGUS..

Really?? Don't want to turn this into a basketball topic lol If anything Lakers got weaker with the trade...they pretty much decimated their whole front court, the Hornets got the better end of the deal because Paul is going away after seasons end but now they get nothing, and Houston wanted a big man in place of Yao.

But on topic...Harrison should get suspended if Mayo has to pay 25K

I'm pretty sure i have that play in mind...i didn't think it was even worth a penalty.

Utter BS.

And yet Charles Woodson, who threw a forearm to Eli Manning's head AND WAS penalized only get's a $15,000 fine. Never mind the two body blows he gave to David Thomas earlier this year. Charles Woodson fined $15,000 for roughing Eli Manning | ProFootballTalk

There is no consistency with Goodell, is there?

sure there is...it's just hard for normal, honest people to recognize it...here's how it works

if YOU are the commissioner and you are brought up to be a rabid Jet fan by your rich Senator father and you attend Jet home games every season acting like a complete troglodytic moron with your high school buddies towards fans of other teams attending these games...and if your first job in the league is as team blowboy for Leon Hess's Jets and to further your career in the NFL and curry favor with your political daddy, Hess recommends you to be hired after you have been turned down twenty times previously then it starts to become clear why YOU, as commissioner, years later fine the New England Patriots one million dollars and an invaluable 1st round building block pick ostensibly over an argument over where a camera can and cannot be used, yet YOU, as Commissioner, repeatedly show staggering bias towards YOUR former employer and NY metro area NFL representative, the New York Jets, meting out ridiculous patty cake slaps on the wrist for RECORDED obscene gestures towards the general public, some of whom are underaged, ...spoken, recorded vulgarities a second time, a second offense,..allowing the unbridled degeneracy of the head coach to be swept under the rug while the rest of the country laughs hysterically at the pathetic foot job video posted worldwide...and on and on and on and on....I could go on all night giving examples.

Goodell is pathologically bent on damaging the NE Patriots in any way he can and decisions like this only go to the point...he is so arrogant he thinks no one can see through his facade, but he's a transparent, intellectually malignant dwarf who needs to be excised from the NFL completely.

if that hit is 25,000...harrisons should be at least 125K for last nights bush league hit...still can't get over that moron

Well then I hope Mayo finally wakes up and learns the lesson that the NFL is sending.

For just $5,000 more, Mayo can just walk up to any QB and punch them right in the face.

Or for $7,500 he could have ended someone's season with a cheap shot after the whistle.
