Taylor Price is a Jaguar

Hopefully he makes the best of this new chance ... good luck to him - he was stuck behind too many great receivers here. Getting cut does not mean you suck - there just was not enough need for his skill set over here.

ohhhhh, that's why we drafted him

Yes ... but other players emerged over him after that but you know this you're just part of the drama club.

I hope he can get on the field and produce for the Jags. While I am often critical of BB's personnel moves, I think it was a good draft choice at the time.

Bill probably tried him at defensive end in practice and was incensed when he couldn't play both ways.

He's probably just not very good. I'm glad they cut him. Belichick has an extremely good record of know when to let people go. The list of guys he's cut that have gone on to prove him wrong is pretty much non-existent.

The only gripe to have here is what appears to be a talent evaluation problem, either that or a long frickin' drought.

Hey, maybe that's why Belichick always works to get so many picks. He knows the scouts suck, so he figures if he gets enough picks a few will pan out on pure luck.

Seriously, with all the 2nd rounders we've had we're due to get a stud pretty soon just based on statistics.

(To be fair, Gronkowski has been a 2nd round steal. He'd be a top 10, maybe top 5, pick in a 2010 redraft. You can make a good argument that he is the best offensive player drafted in 2010)

I will love to hear his unadulterated comments about his time here.
I'd more love to hear Belichick's and Brady's unadulterated comments about his time here.

I was a little said that we cut him, he seems to have all the tools to be a #1 WR, but it was clear that he and Tom wasn't in the same page, having that in mind, it isn't a stupid decision.

So wasn't Right Said Fred ...

doesn't matter that TB > Gabbert in this case...Price will have a better career with a lesser QB.
Obviously it's a game of chances/situations, just to clarify before anybody wants to put words in my mouth.

The release of Tate is looking worse every day. I hope there isn't anybody telling me that keeping Price over Tate was a good choice. At least we would've had a decent KR.

The four teams to put in claims on Price...Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa Bay and the Jets.

Surprised that Denver didn't take him. Or maybe they put a claim in. If I remember correctly, he came from an option offense and with the Denver game coming up they could have used him in a few different ways.

What a ridiculous statement. The Price fanboys on this site must live in a some kind of fantasy football parallel universe. Only way to explain comments like this.

What evidence do you have that Price has the "tools" to be a #1 receiver in the NFL? Combine stats?

And the "not on the same page as Brady" cliche? Absolutely nothing to indicate that was the case. Ocho clearly hasn't been able to do it, yet still played while Price remained inactive.

You can spin it all you want, but Price was simply another bust pick. BB realized it and moved on sooner than many hopeful fans would have wanted.
