Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady Says 'They'll Hear About' their Incomplete Effort on Monday
By: Ian Logue

Up 31-17 with just over two minutes to go, it seemed that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had done enough to ensure New England had the game in hand. Or so it seemed....

No 'see you on Wednesday' post-game cheer today.

they're all sandbagging...yeah, they got up 28 and eased off the gas...look at the dyamed subs starting for crying out loud....this week will be film, film and more film as players like Slater get broken down and get to further polish their raw techniques. Anybody who actually thinks BB is going to play a 4 man vanilla rush and let the opponent sit in the pocket unchallenged in the 4th quarter of a meaningful game needs their head examined. I just finished watching the DVR replay...Mayo blitzed once in the 4th quarter and damn near killed Orlovsky...if they kept coming with the blitzes they would have put the guy in the hospital. Another thing is the Garcon catches in the 4th quarter...they all come on the same sideline route...over and over and over...and the D backs keep getting twisted and turned and burned in single coverage...no coach stands for that and keeps playing the same scheme...especially THIS coach with all the different looks he uses mixing zone with m/m....I think BB got a little arrogant at 31-3, like the rest of the team and used formations and plays that are not normally seen ...I mean that 2nd and 5 play where Brady motions Hernandez left and then across and then into a set 4 yards back of the LOS and then throws the ball to him with no blocking right in front of the safety who has the damned pathetic looking clusterfack of a play read with 7 seconds before the snap....it was an embarrassing looking loss...so Brady comes right back to Hernandez on a go route and fails to get the PI on an underthrown ball...why throw THAT pass??....well one, he was open and two, it sure looked like it was one of those "my bad...here's the next one" makeup by Brady. On first down they got five on a run...all day Welker made catches at will...the next dyam play in a normal game is a pass to Welker for the 1st down...or Gronk..or even a run...but THAT idiotic formation to Hernandez on 2nd down??? Pure preseason stuff like you see in the 2nd game.

I expect a full 60 minutes down in Washington...with starters who were still out today in the lineup getting reps headed toward the post season. The Colts actually did the Pats a huge favor by attacking like they did in the 4th quarter....hopefully any notion that you can be complacent in an NFL contest has been burned out of the minds of these young guys.

Will BB make himself take extra laps for putting out those personnel packages in the first place?

I'm just glad we were able to hold off the juggernaut, Dan Orlovsky-led Colts offense late in the game. God knows they're tough to stop.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't hear him utter his usual post game rant citing "bad coaching" and "we need to coach better". :)

That's usually reserved for losses. He seemed even grouchier and more tersely robotic than usual. Both BB and TFB make me look good to my wife as I point out "How would you like to be married to either of these guys after a loss?"
