In the Xmas spirit of "It's a Wonderful Life," if you had a magic wand and could choose, what would you choose:

A. Pats get First Seed, Jets in Playoffs; or

B. Pats get Second Seed, Jets out of Playoffs.

so either way we get a bye but in Option B, we don't have home field in the AFCCG? I can live with that. I don't want to see the Jets in it.

personally would love another shot at them.

1 seed all the way!

If you don't think you can beat the Jets then what's the point? How could you possibly beat the Pack or whoever comes out of the NFC anyways?

I'd take the 2nd Seed/Jets out option.

1. Sometimes match-ups and history matter. Meaning that I could see the Jets being a bad match up given the Pats have beat them twice (hard to beat a team three times) and Ryan's ability to mess with Tom's head.

2. I want Jets fans to be miserable and have to face not seeing their team not in the playoffs.

3. I don't want the drama of another Pats-Jets playoff game.

4. The Pats can win an AFC Champ game on the road. See 2001 and 2004 seasons.

Whatever seed gets them a first round win is the seed I want.

Don't play scared.

Plus, beatignthe Jets 3 times in a season, only a superbowl win gets better than that.

All I care is the Patriots. BTW I would rather see out Pitts and Ravens if I can choose. Thats being said, the Jets will kick out again ...:(

I'm going with 2nd seed; a dead roach is a dead roach, whether by stomping (playoff defeat) or spraying (non-qualification), but spraying gets the nasty twitching corpse out of my mind quicker :D Besides, if the Pats are good enough to win a Lombardi, they're good enough to win a road Hunt.

that, lol at people afraid of the Jets.

Not afraid of anyone. Just want to maximize the chances that the Pats get to the SB. The Jets present a good obstacle if they roll into the playoffs having gone 6-0 down the stretch.
