There have been rumblings that TO could be signed by the Pats and I'm definately in favor of it. It's only for the last few games of the year and the playoff. There isn't a huge risk there, how much damage could he do in that short of time. TO has been pretty quiet the last couple years too with teams like the Bills and Bengals, both horrible teams but he didn't complain at all about not getting the ball enough. The Ocho Cinco experiment is over and besides both of them were on the Bengals last year and TO was the more productive one, not Ocho Cinco. TO showed last year that when he catches fire there is very few who can stop him even at 37 years old. I think at this point in his career he wants a ring and if the Patriots bring him in then he would be on his best behavior. It may not look like the Patriots need another receiver now but they're playing against crappy teams and come playoff time when you face the best teams, you need another receivin threat or teams will just shut down Welker. Branch has shown this year he is not that guy, both he and Hernandez haven't been consistent enough to be the other guy and they need more than just Gronkowski. If the TO can come in and be the TO of last year, it may be enough to push the Patriots over the top and win a championship.

SIGN TO, CUT OCHO CINCO

An attempted suicide is kinda a red flag...

Do you think he could pick up the offense with 5 games left and no TC???

None of the other 31 teams are interested, too many red flags.

No one is really going to contribute past our first 4 receivers (which includes the TE's). Why bother?

Not only that, all it would do is focus more negative attention on this team, a la Haynesworth and Ochocinco.

Those are the 2 biggest reasons, and that's giving TO the benefit of the doubt and assuming that he could actually still even play--which is also another pretty big question.

Everything...

What could possibly go wrong?

You get a Big Fat ZERO for the idea of inserting that Loser of a Pre Madonna into this locker Room.

This team is starting to gel and become the machine it usually does every December. It doesn't need the distractions and drama of the TO Soap Opera and Reality Show.

TO is to football what Snookie is to women: a train wreck on the reality loop from h3ll.

I just have a feeling 85 will catch a few at the sharp end of the season, he's been getting open, Brady hasn't been throwing him the ball and he's said as much. Not all teams are going to play us like the Eagles did. Denver will b a good test
