I'll admit, I was wrong. I seriously thought he was going to struggle against Philly. I seriously thought their pass rush would get to him, and overwhelm him mentally. I was dead wrong, he tore Philly a new one. It was an impressive performance. He looked like the great Tom Brady that everyone has come to love.

I still stand by some of my concerns about him in previous games. Maybe they were a bit exaggerated, but I never meant any hate toward the one and only great Tom Brady.

I have very high expectations for him, and if he doesn't meet those high expectations, I feel it is fair game to call him out.

I was wrong about thinking the Patriots were dead in the water. I underestimated how much smarter Belichick is than anyone else. And that when Brady is on, it is hard for any team to beat the Patriots. Total kudos to Gronk, and Welker as well. Those two guys are animals!

I don't think the Patriots are a great team. However, in this bizarre AFC conference, I like them as much as anyone to go to the SB. Winning it is another question, but can the Pats go to the SB? Sure, why not. There's not another great team in the AFC this year, so it is wide open.

It's just no fun when Jets fans throw in the towel like that........

I'll save the mods the trouble: (please be quiet).

If you're be serious, then kudos to you for being man enough to come back and admit a wrong prediction. That takes alot, and is admirable.

If it's more sarcasm, then you'll get a (please be quiet) from me too

you should have more faith in this team....drastic and amazing things can happen between TWO GAMES, much less 5 games

Yeah yeah, it is very easy to post such rubbish when you are wrong, but when you think you have all the ammo, you shoot your load like there is no tomorrow. There is no need for such look at me threads.

I think he'll forgive you after he sees what a great job you did in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid."

Nice try, Polly. God, you're such a dink...

I really think New Jersey Green Beans fans apologizing here is horribly misplaced. Instead, they should apologize -- deeply and sincerely -- to their family, friends and clergy for supporting that slimy, scummy, godforsaken morally and ethically bankrupt franchise.

Only a Jets fan gets excited about going to the SB

Wrong. They consider it exciting almost making it to the SB. Like being AFCCG runner ups.

If the Pats had a Lombardi for each superbowl that Rexy has guaranteed... Oops they already do, except they have the REAL ones. ^_^

I showed the REAL Paul Newman your thread

He wasn't that impressed you used his name

The OP is not the first person to be wrong about TB.

I had a coworker who wanted Kraft to fire BB for not putting Bledslow back in when the doctors cleared Drew.

He then spent all week leading up to the first Bills-Pats game talking about how the upcoming game will prove how foolhardy Belichick was for trading Bledsloe and keeping the 6th round bum from Michigan.

After the second Pats-Bills game of 2002 he finally stated to come around.

News flash. The Pats ARE a GREAT team!!:D

You know, Paul Newman lived a long time yet died without seeing the Green Beans win an NFL championship. Scores of others are joining him each day.
