Only missing player is Seabass.

LB Dane Fletcher returns as Pats prepare for Colts with walk-through | Boston Herald
Dane Fletcher, who has been out since the Week 7 bye with a thumb injury, was present for today’s walk-through on the upper grass fields behind Gillette Stadium. Colleague Ian Rapoport saw the linebacker and didn’t believe he was wearing any kind of support or cast on the thumb.

Rapoport also indicated linebacker Brandon Spikes, out since the Giants game with an MCL injury, made an appearance. He was wearing a jacket. Spikes, who had not been spotted at any previous walkthroughs, didn’t look like he was participating, according to Rapoport.

Brandon Spikes, Chad Ochocinco, Dane Fletcher Present for Patriots' Walkthrough, Sebastian Vollmer Absent | Jeff Howe | NESN
Ochocinco missed his first practice of the season Friday with a hamstring injury. Spikes had missed three weeks with a knee injury, though it was unclear how much he would participate Wednesday, as he was wearing a heavy winter jacket while standing on the sideline during the media portion of practice. Fletcher had missed six weeks with a thumb injury.

Tackle Sebastian Vollmer was the only player missing from the walkthrough after injuring his ankle in the first half Sunday in Philadelphia.

Backup offensive linemen Donald Thomas and Nick McDonald (practice squad) were snapping the ball to quarterbacks Tom Brady and Brian Hoyer off to the side during special teams drills. Therefore, it looks like Thomas would be the emergency center if Dan Connolly and Ryan Wendell were pressed from action.

Get out your bibs, its about to get messy in the colts backfield...

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

Good, good does that mean McCourty is back???

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

Subject line worried me for a second: "Fletcher spikes back." Sounded serious! ;)

Would he get an unsportsmanlike penalty for excessive celebration for spiking his back?

Glad to hear they're back on the field though. I hope they're ready for the Washington game, this week we could probably get by without them.

I like Fletcher for his close up speed to the ball carrier. We don't have anybody who tackles like him and is fast enough. I think Guyton is just fast without pads.

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

I thought that the BH reported that Spikes, though seen, didn't seem to be practicing.

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

I hope we get healthy during these last games.

Any news on McCourty/Chung?

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

Walk through.

McCourty like Chung have been practicing for a few weeks. They have just not been activated on game day. I assume that Spikes and possibly Fletcher will follow a similiar pattern. Fletcher has a better chance of starting this weekend since he has a thumb injury and not a leg injury.

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

Solder at right tackle and Julian Edelman at blocking tight end.

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

BTW, from what Reiss reported, Spikes was more of an observer than a participant today.

Better than that poster last week in here that was spiking his puke

I'm thinking this is a joke, but the way things have been going the last few weeks, I actually have to ask. . . .

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

Walk through.

I was thinking the same thing. With the new CBA and far fewer practices with pads, these mid-week "practices" aren't really much more than instructional walk throughs. Players are probably expected to be out there for these sessions even if they are not likely to play on Sunday. I don't know this for sure, but it seems reasonable.

Can't wait to see Fletcher out there

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

Fletcher played as recently as week 7? I thought he'd been out longer than that. Good news though, psyched to see what he can bring to the table.

Re: Fletcher Spikes back

That must have been one hell of a thumb injury to keep Fletcher out this long.

I cannot wait to see Fletcher back out there. What an upgrade.
