Molden Was Beat But VY Gave Him a Gift

Yes, the ball was under thrown, but at the same time he showed great closing speed on the reciever. If we are going to play revisionist historian, I am going to say he was closing to make a play on the ball.

VY missed another should be TD or at the least a trip to the red zone.

We've been fortunate that this rash of DB/LB injuries came during a stretch of Sanchez/Palko/VY/Panter. I'm encouraged by the defense but important to remain cautiously optimistic

Wow, good thing he didn't complete it, that would have changed everything.

Great idea for a weekly ESPN Football show though, one hour every week with Kordell Stewart and Merrill Hoge: Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda---DAMN!

I don't know if everyone else saw it, but the play where Solder almost missed a block was almost as important.

The Pats really squeaked one out on pure luck yesterday.

You can't close in on a WR who just blew by you and getting seperation. He closed in on the ball BECAUSE it was underthrown. Had VY led Desean the way Vick has done time and time again it's 6 points

My personal favorite is, "when if's and buts are candies and nuts, we'll all have a wonderful Christmas".

stick around...by next week you'll think we were 1-9...

He did the same thing last week and Amukamara picked him off. Tiquan gave the eagles a gift so were even:D

holy fudging shat puck.. we are at this point around here?

I thought it was neat seeing a big play from a different camera angle.

Can't someone make an observation based on an in-stadium camera angle that was not available to the TV viewers?

Wasn't making a point about the game in general. Just that a different camera angle can put light on a particular play. I thought it was pretty interesting.

Ease up, Frances.

Why stop at Painter?

Tebow,Grossman or Beck,Moore and Fitzpatrick aren't making any Defense scared either, the piss poor QB train rolls well into January.

If the Pats get a bye and Oakland or Houston wins their opening playoff game then it might be until the AFCCG until a QB emerges that is a challenge to a poor defense.

Yeah you guys are acting like pointing this our is trying to discredit the win altogether.

We're talking about one play where we got fortunate

Well I'm assuming that we'll get some if not all of the major injuries by the Denver game, so I was referring to the teams we play with our DB/LB's depleted. But yeah, there is a good chance we don't face a good QB until the SB if we make it that far.

So do you have video of the entire Steelers-Chiefs game?

Our 4th string corners are better than the Iggles 2nd string QB. That's what it boils down to.

That's because many around here are getting really really sick of the neverending misery and negativity of other Patriot "fans." Crapping on a bad team makes some sense, crapping on one that has been winning at almost 75% for the last 10 years is beyond stupid and really tiresome.

This video from the stands shows that Molden was clearly beaten but Vince Young just thorew it short and behind his WR.

VINCE YOUNG INTERCEPTED BY ANTWAUN MOLDEN-PATS @ EAGLES 11/27/11 - YouTube

You're saying Antwaun Molden was beat? I find that hard to believe.

I, on the other hand, give him credit for actually looking for and catching the ball while only committing marginal pass interference and managing not to spastically trip all over the receiver.

Small victories.

Molden has been beat on every pass route I've ever seen him try to defend. Why he's playing ahead of Adams is a mystery to me.

That said, nice play Antwaun!!!

I hear you on the negativity but this thread isn't crapping on anybody
