I do not think that this is a very polite answer. From what i have read 3/4 seems to be a Biblicist. I know the Bible says that all men are created equal. How could 3/4 deny that? According to his faith the eternal destiny of one's soul doesn't tell the value of it. In fact I would assume that 3/4 would claim that every soul is worth the same price--Jesus death. That is the consistant Biblical view based upon the Bible's authority. Why take a cheap shot at him? Maybe you have been in the political forum too long.

There's no such thing as the entity described as "soul" since James Brown died. The concept of soul was created to describe human consciousness by scientifically ignorant people who were as likely to believe that thinking was believed to occur in the stomach as in the head. These same people removed the brain for burial because it was believed to have no use. There are no souls.

I believe that everyone has a soul. It's one's essence, so to speak. Yes, I believe Iraqi's have souls. Some souls are on a higher vibration than others. For instance Mahatma Ghandi, Jesus, the Dalai Lama to name a few.


The Jeffrey Dahmers, the Hitlers and others who have done awful things in this world are on a lower vibration, where they're not so spiritually inclined.

That's my semi-deep answer to a very good question.

I said the same thing in my post above, but somehow your answer seems to have more oomph in it.

And this is one of my biggest complaints with Christianity.

In simple terms, if others dont believe in what they believe in, then they are nothing more than a pile of crap.

People arent accepted into Heaven because their souls arent as valuable as another. All souls are of equal value. The determination comes from whether ************ has been accepted as Lord and Savior.

This is why it is such a tragic thing when a soul is lost and why the Christian strives to save each one, because each one has value.

So, according to Christianity, they have no tolerance for other GODS, or other religions, right?

what is the definition of tolerance? If by tolerance, you mean, accepting that other people can believe whatever they want, Yes, we DO have tolerance. You are free to practice any religion you choose. But by tolerance, it doesnt mean we are going to be wishy washy or compromise our belief and/or declaration that there is one true God. You or I believing it or not doesnt change the truth.

That is not intolerance, Its having conviction in something.


I understand that to many non-believers, a person having a conviction in their hearts that something is true is seen as intolerant.

Intolerance is an action. If I keep you from your beliefs or deprive you of your rights that is an act of intolerance. Me believing that Jesus is Lord and that He is the way, the truth, and the life, is not an act of intolerance. It is my belief. And me declaring it is my right. To say I cant is the act of intolerance.

If you dont agree with me why dont you talk up your own beliefs instead of denegrading others.

The name is different, but it's still the same GOD.

And, that being the case, why then should any Jew, or any Muslim, be barred from entering Heven, or the Hereafter, or whatever you want to call it.

Christians do nOT have sole ownership of the SAME GOD that others believe in, although they would like to believe that they do, and I find that to be intolerance.

belief is not intolerance. An action that bars you from something would be intolerant. You might then say, God is intolerant for requiring belief in His Son. But a Christian believing in that God and speaking of Him is not intolerant. A non-believer, acting out anger toward the Christian, with insults and accusations, for stating his or her beliefs, is an act of intolerance.

NEM, I think what 3 to be 4 means to say is that God is intolerant of those who don't accept Jesus as their personal savior. So according to him, all souls are equal until leaving the body upon death. Then, the souls are divided up by God into two classes. One class, the ones who accepted Jesus as a personal savior, are allowed to enter heaven. All others are thrown away like pieces of garbage into hell because God no longer cares for them. That includes the native peoples of remote lands and millions in China who never heard of Jesus. It also includes people like my friend Ira Goldstein, who dedicated his life to serving God and once saved a medically needy orphan from sure death by adopting him as his own child. It still boggles my mind to think that Ira's wonderful soul -- which was more "Christian" than most Christians -- was doomed to eternal hell.
