Let's not beat around the bush, would the Colt game qualify as a success as long as we win and there are no injuries? Even if the defense surrenders 35 points in a 38-35 win? Or do we need to win by 20?

There is little to be gained in a game against a winless team this late in the year.

Therefore, what needs to happen in order for this game to qualify as a success in your opinion?

For me, as long as we win by double digits I'll be satisfied.

1. A win by one or more points

2. NO injuries

3. Playing time to show case Hoyer

A win with zero injuries and some flashes from guys like Vareen, Price, and Sterling Moore

Win

No injury to Brady/Welker/Wilfork

Profit

I will call it a successful win if the Pats D can hold the inept Colts offense to less than their game averages which is >250 yards and >12.5 pts.

Oh and of course no more injuries.

would like to see more touches for Vereen and Ridley.

A couple of catches from price.

Yeah and a Big W.

One and two equal success. Three is a luxury. I'd love to see Brady break Marino's 5084 and Welker break Rice's 1848. Brady needs 292/game and Welker 142/game. While nice if they are sitting on the bench in the third quarter because the defense scored a few TDs and Brady only has 186 and Welker 42 but they're not taking contact, I'll take that.

The Colts offense is horrible and they're fielding one of the worst QB's in the league. This game needs to be a complete demolition with no injuries to be considered a success.

I'd love fornthem both to reach those milestones too! But we all know adding another ring to TFB's hand would be soooo soooo much sweeter.

Exactly.......

Scoring at least 62 pts.

Other than a win and no injuries, the only thing that I need to qualify this as a success is that the announcers do not spend more than 5 minutes talking about the loss of Manning and the prospects of Andrew Luck for the Colts. I have a feeling that I am going to be utterly disapointed in that aspect of the game.

A success in ANY game EVER in the NFL is to win.....PERIOD!!!!

Whether its a 17-16 win or a 48-3 blowout means no difference, you don't get extra points or another win if you win big.

It may matter if its Green Bay you are blowing out as that shows what type of team and capabilities you have, but otherwise....no difference.

It wont be a success unless the Colts pass for over 400 yards and we win by a double digit spread:D

A final score of 56-3 so I can win the weekly contest! Anything less will be an utter disappointment.

A nice solid vanilla win and no injuries.

This ! I don't care if it's one point or more, I just want a win.

A comfortable win with no injuries. It's ALL about the health of the team at this point.
