Thats tom brady, he demands Perfection from himself every game, thats how a QB should talk.
That's one of his most positive attributes, and what drives him to be such an effective leader.
To be fair though, they really did play just "OK" in certain areas. They once again, got off to a terribly slow start, and they may truly bite them in the ***** come playoff time. The WR's dropped some very catchable balls. Brady himself mis-threw some balls. The timing and routes of the 2 positions were not as successful, as Brady had to give an earful to some of the guys including Branch. The offensive line needs to do a much better job at times in its protection, as he cannot keep taking such vicious shots. One good shot could ruin this whole season, and they need to improve on that. The communication, pickups, and recognition of defensive schemes could be better. The running game could certainly be improved.
And that's just on the offensive side of the ball....so to say that they played "OK" on our very high standards, or against the high standards of important and successful teams like Green Bay, N.Orleans, Pittsburgh, Baltimore etc is a very reasonable thought in my opinion.
I believe they are continuing to improve, but I see absolutely no fault in recognizing potential weaknesses that will lead us to another possible one-and-done either.
It's great to have a guy like Brady who is not satisfied with putting up 38 points, as this team will have to play lights out to compete/win with a few of the playoff teams that I mentioned above.
